  1. #1 - 1st edition. Pages are white to off white. Most of these have some page aging on the top and maybe the sides while still having better quality pages on the inside. $40
  2. Need more scans or have questions please ask. No probies or HOSers 2.I'll ship USPS Media Mail - $6 for the larger, almost bible sized books (1-5, 11, 13-15), and $5 for the more regular sized ones (6-10, 12, 16). I will, of course, combine shipping if applicable. If you want it shipped some other way instead just let me know and we can work out the shipping costs. 3. Payment by Paypal only. 4. First in the sales thread gets it. All of these books have what looks like a readers spine crease on the front and back. There are some minor stains and scuffs on a few, but they are all in still the 8.5 to 9.2 range, I think, with the exception of 14 (water damage) and 16 (huge front cover fold and a sticker on the back), I'll post pics when I get to them. I also have the number zero comic book, for a complete reading run of Cerebus, if someone is interested in that I'll post some scans and we can talk price. Please feel free to make me an offer on any of the books. I'm not attached to any of these prices.
  3. Depends if you want one super exclusive key or a a few not quite so "big" right? JIM 83 is in that price range. Or you could get ASM 300, ASM 361, New Mutants 98, Avengers 57 maybe, etc...
  4. Ah, so search by the actual titles, not just cerebus collected/tpb, etc... That makes more sense. Thanks!
  5. So, I'm probably going to sell a run of the Cerebus collected editions. Basically TPB's, they just call it Collected Editions to be fancy (well that and some of them are huge, especially when compared to your average TPB). My question is where do I find a good price to try to sell them at where I don't chase people away but at least make some money off of it? I've looked at Ebay sales, there are almost none. I've looked at places like CPG (comicspriceguide.com) and those prices seem a bit high, though maybe they're not. There was no sales data I could find on a few of the other sites like comicconnect or comiclink. So, I'm confused as to where I start. I could easily throw them up on Ebay and just auction them off and see what the market says. But I was thinking of trying to sell them here, I haven't done it before so I figured this would be a good way to start.
  6. How big is that shelf? I like the look of that and might steal it from you. Or at least something similar.
  7. Started buying much more than I expected to, so I figured I'd better start one of these.
  8. Very cool. I just finished reading the entirety of your journal a few days ago. Good to see that you're still finding cool stuff like this.
  9. It's a personal choice I think. I pay the extra to have it tracked and insured. If you do UPS or FedEx I think the insurance is limited to their default, no extra for what your book might be worth. All about your risk tolerance.
  10. Sorry about that. If you have your heart set on it, be happy to abdicate in your favor. I'm just grabbing stuff I love the cover of.
  11. It moved from received to scheduled for grading, to grading, to finalized. Once it got in to scheduled it was finalized and mailed out within probably 4 working days or so.
  12. I saw that, but they're back now. Just a blip.
  13. I sent in my first submission in the same timeframe. In fact 12/17 is also when all of mine were marked as received. They were a mix of modern, value, and economy. Funny enough I got 1 of the economies back already. The rest have not moved from received either. So the only answer I can give you is - I think it's pretty standard, just have to be patient. Like you, since this is my first submission, I'm anxious to see how it turns out. But I think patience is the only way really.
  14. Yea, not looking for 1 off symbiotes or love interests. Mostly just major/main spider-powered folks who are out there fighting (or committing) crime. Noire and spider-ham make sense though, thanks!
  15. Not sure what other forum to ask this on, if there's a better option lmk. I'm juggling the idea of collecting all the 1st appearances of the various spider-folks. Here's the issues I know I need off the top of my head: - AF15 - obviously - UF4 - Miles - ASM 300 - Venom - ASM 361 - Carnage - ASM 149 (or is it considered WoSM 118?) - Scarlet Spider - EoSV 2 - Spider Gwen - ASM(Volume 3) 4 - Silk - Marvel Spotlight 32 - Spider Woman So, my question is. Am I right with these, and who am I missing? *edited to clarify that what I'm thinking is more the main/major characters who have powers and have had their own series, etc... Should have made that clear from the beginning.
