  1. I can't figure out how to add Cerebus Number Zero to my collection. P.S. I mistakenly added this request to a different thread. Sorry I added "0" to both Cerebus sets.
  2. Also Jimmy is wearing a tie, not a bowtie?
  3. Pleased with the speed of the turn-around of my comics submitted at the NY Comic Con this year. NYCC Turn-around This year I decided to get a bunch of books graded. I dropped them off at the NY Comic Con last month. I started with my Aircel Men In Black Vol 2 mini-series. As I mentioned in my reply and mea culpa to the Journal "The Clutter", I had been too lazy to pack up these books to get re-holdered and fix their registration numbers. And then things got out of control. Here is a list of what I submitted and their turn-around times. I created the invoices at home and brought them to the NYCC the next day or so. 10/16/14 3 comics Men In Black Vol 2 reholdered Status: Shipped/Safe and in my hands 10/16/14 5 comics 2 Quality Spirits (16, 21) 1 Air Pirate Funnies 2 2 Kitchen Sink Spirits (1 second printing, 2) Status: Shipped/Safe and in my hands 10/21/14 5 comics Logan's Run 6 Miracleman 23 New Mutants 87 (2nd printing) Strange Tales 181 Status: Shipped/Safe and in my hands 10/22/14 4 comics 3 Quality Spirits (14, 15, 19) 1 Harvey Spirit 2 Status: Shipped/Safe and in my hands 10/22/14 4 magazines 3 Marvel Super Specials (Beatles, 2 different Kiss) 1 Marvel Preview Status: Shipped/Safe and in transit 10/22/14 7 comics 3 Captain Marvel (15, 16, 32) 1 Chamber of Darkness 4 1 Strange Tales 110 1 Tomahawk 124 1 Wonder Woman 199 Status: Graded So, I'm very impressed with the quick turn-around. The dates listed are invoice dates (when I started creating the invoices) and not the dates I handed them over to the nice folks at the CGC NYCC table. Nothing fancy (no pressing, no signatures). Mostly from my original collection (i.e. newsstand copies), except for the Spirits and the Captain Marvel 32 from the last invoice. Everything back except one invoice in transit and one invoice that is Graded. These invoices reflect some of my main interests. I primarily collect Silver Age and later books. But my favorite book is the Quality Comics reprints of Will Eisner's Spirit Sections. For the post Silver Age I primarily CGC by favorite creators - Alan Moore, Neal Adams, Jim Steranko, Bernie Wrightson and Jim Starlin. To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here.
