Shipping is $18 per slab, $10 raw. Buy more than 1 slab and I’ll pay for shipping for all of them! I’ll ship to Canada for actual cost but please PM me. 3. PayPal preferred. I see Venmo let’s you choose to protect your purchase so I’ll take that too. 4. No probies or HOS folk 5. Returns accepted as long as you let me know within 14 days. Return shipping on your dime unless it was my mistake. My Kudos:
  4. You must get far in life - you show up to a message board for collecting and grading comics, ask for help, receive great advice, immediately get defensive for no reason, and then insult everyone by calling them coloring books for kids? Ok, cool guy with 134 things on his list. (I got 99 problems, but yours isn't one).
  5. Sweet! Do it and let’s see what happens! I’ll pay grading fees if you get a universal!
  6. Anyone who thinks this isn’t restoration/color touch care to try the same thing Todd did on the same book and send for CGC grading? I’m not a betting man, but here I’d bet $$ you get a PLOD.
  7. Just an observation from a listing on eBay… Seems Todd decided to do some color touch when signing a very nice book and they called it a “sketch” on the label. In the description the seller states the sketch is Todd filling in missing ink from printing (part of the moon near Batman’s face that was missing on all copies). I found it interesting that they called this a sketch, and it’s not considered restoration. Just my ! Sweet book BTW. https://www.ebay.com/itm/385337255157?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=JlBh8G5IRuW&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=jCC3hjR7RT6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  8. Another explanation for the why the buyer would take a huge loss - money laundering. Buy a hugely popular book you know you can flip and resell and you aren’t worried about taking a loss. They just need that legit check.
  9. What I see are some really cool stories you can read to your kid! Covers are cool and I love to collect them, but that’s some classic early Spidey to enjoy!
  10. I was working on an Action Comics #25-#50 run and some of the books were in standard CGC cases, and some were in magazine cases. I had two slabbed myself. One of them came back in a standard case and one came back in a magazine case (AC 27). There were several other errors on the one in the magazine case so I sent it back and asked for a standard case and they returned it in a magazine case. They certainly are much uglier IMO. Below are two that were in magazine cases and two in standard cases. The books are identically sized, but my guess is that the spine quality of the books made the slabber feel they would be squeezed in a standard case - just a guess though.
  11. Keep in mind there is a timeframe for reporting the damage to CGC: https://www.cgccomics.com/legal/terms-and-conditions/
  12. comictraders1 Sent me an offer, I accepted it. Seven days later never paid and no communication after two messages and invoice sent. Avoid.
  13. Great books! And quite an impressive registry set - The only complete one from what I can tell! GLWTS!
  14. Cool book! Has that retained the same grade through all of those signings?
  15. I had an AC 29 graded in early 2021 by CGC knowing it was the second appearance and the label came back saying first. I sent it back to to be fixed and they sent it back the same exact way. I gave up and recently sold it but was very clear it was mislabeled by CGC. It seems the change took place in Overstreet a few years ago. CGC said they working on fixing it at one point.
