Sad that a fanboi has to answer for CGC

Can we get an update from someone at CGC when this signing will actually take place? I know customer service is a bad word now a days with large companies, but this borders on neglect of it's customer base!!!!!

I don't think you understood what I stated.

Hoping these individuals will show up, and not properly scheduling these as a practice, would be bad business, I don't see that being the case. CGC isn't saying much on this signing events failure, screams they dropped the ball on this event, and didn't schedule it correctly or failed to handle the rescheduling in a timely manner. Mistakes happen, just be honest, so we as customers can make an informed decision on weather we would like to wait it out, or move on and get our books back.

Stan Lee is the god father of comics, no arguing that, but he was such a signature whore, you can find his signatures on DC books he had nothing to do with, and I'm good with people paying stupid money for something you can easily find 24/7 in almost every comic shop or online seller. Michael Turner was one of the hottest artists while he was alive, nothing hardcore about knowing who he was, since he did variant covers for both marvel, and DC, and had one of the hottest independent comic books when he left main stream comics. Long term, you will see value in the scarcity of signatures, due to his early passing.

I would contact CGC, and verify what is going on, never hurts to ask.

Nope, and in another thread about this topic, CGC basically said they have no clue when this signing will happen, which tells me they announced this before they had a clear agreement with Jim Lee and company, and now CGC is trying to save face by not giving more facts on why this is taking so long. Good luck getting any real information, even on the website there is nothing noted it was postponed, cancelled or rescheduled.

Clearly CGC didn't have this locked down, but decided to advertise this signing, and take our money. There is zero problems scheduling anything, you just find when Jim and company can commit 2-3 days, and you schedule it, and stay in communication with them, so that if adjustments have to be made, you can communicate them, and keep the customer base informed, and happy.

Indeed it would, since he isn't signing very often, and as we know scarcity makes it more valuable. For instance, Stan Lee signed for something like 40 plus years, and had huge events all the time, hence his signature is quite common ( You will still get some who think his signature is the holy grail of signatures, but it's not), compared to someone who like Michael Turner who passed away in his prime at the young age of 35-36, or a real holy grail of signatures such as Bob Kane.

I'm sorry, but I'll be recalling my books, that is not reasonable or acceptable.

Per CCS, 98 working days is 20 weeks, that is beyond insanely slow.

So you're saying it takes 20 weeks to get pressing done?
