  3. Buy what you like personally. People collect everything from Pedigree copies to beat reader copies. If you enjoy it that's what matters. That being said I don't want people cutting books up like some other collectible fields have in the past and selling a square from Babe Ruth's jersey etc. If a book is in pieces and someone wants to slab a page that's up to them.

  6. Curious everyone's thoughts as to the rarest CGC celebrity sigs that exist. Who would you consider to be in the top group and any thoughts on estimated number of certified examples? George Lucas, Robert Downey Jr. etc.

  9. Should've held. My 9.8 only sold for $90 at auction a couple months back after trying to get substantially more on the Clink exchange. It was only one of 2 on the census I believe. Ouch! Should have left it on the exchange. I had a feeling it would be relevant with all the Warlock buzz. dumb*ss You can't win em all. I sold a raw Batman 251 on the boards several years back. I graded it at 9.0. The person who bought it slabbed it and it came back 9.6. Do you know what a 9.6 Batman 251 goes for these days? Also sold my Iron Man 55 before it went bonkers. Ah well, que sera sera When my wife decided we were getting a house, I sold a Batman 251 CGC 9.6 and an IM 55 CGC 9.4 to defray the moving costs well before those books really blew up, so I feel your pain I still have my Iron Man 55.
  10. The book is a great read. Curious how the movie will compare.
  11. Is there a complete list of all the blocked users?
  12. Overstreet Advisor and former Managing Editor at Gemstone Publishing.
  13. Great to do business with. A good seller and book was well packaged!
  14. Since we're posting keys. Let's see your Werewolf By Night #32 copies…. Still actively looking for a CGC 9.8 copy.
  15. There have been limited cases of fake and or misidentified pedigree books. I have seen fakes in the past. First originals can be identified by the physical characteristics known to exist on MH pedigrees, the original MH list, images found in the Gerber Photo Journal, etc.
  16. Here are two examples of the same book from the MH pedigree. One was sold via Heritage raw the other I acquired years ago. Both are on the original MH list. ]
  17. In a single word yes. The Edgar Church collection does have a very small number of comics of which he acquired two copies. As far as I am personally aware there were no keys that are duplicated and mostly they are later date wise in the collection. You should try and hunt down a copy of the pedigree list as this does help solve some of these types of questions. Best of luck!
  18. Here's a few copies. I also have a 7.5 SS by Trimpe and a few lower grade raw copies.
