  1. Can we spot the issue here? Inconsistency after inconsistency… how can I be home to sign for my generic 8.5 slabs/registered mail if you my submission isn’t updated to shipped? C’mon now.. this is the second submission that this happened with. If I didn’t have USPS informed delivery I would have never known. With the previous submission I had to call to have things updated (WEEKS LATER) so a buyer could look up a cert number that wasn’t showing up in the CGC system. Apologies for b!tching but I’ve yet to have a pleasant sub experience after seven or so of them here.
  2. Meanwhile.. 200-card bulk orders received after this date are already shipped. Sick af, CGC. Looking forward to cancelling this membership.
  3. Delivered - 4/3 Received - 6/17 been in GEI since 10/4… TF is the fcking hold up?
  4. Be prepared for for what you don’t want, it’s going to happen 🤷🏽‍♀️. Bulk received 5/3 - (37 no subs/24 subs) card charged 10/1 and 10/5. GEI - since 9/30 (subs) and 10/4 (no subs) Currently approaching the end of the 5-week mark. According to an email my cards have been graded, pending encapsulation. If they arrive before December I’ll be surprised. Had 2 subs paid for in full before receiving anything back. WARNING: There will be scuffs on your cases. There might be red sharpie circles on your cases, indicating something inside of the case that they didn’t bother fixing. There will be inconsistent grades, especially for centering. 8.5 is the lowest centering I’ve heard, why the f—k is there so many inconsistent centering grades? Your cases will be dusty, have a microfiber cloth or two on hand. You may even receive your cards back while the stage indicates “grading quality control/finalized”.. Lastly, you will probably receive better grades on 25 year old mint Japanese cards than minty modern. Expect the worst, my friend.
  5. Kubler-Ross should have added ‘confusion’ as a 6th stage 🤷🏽‍♀️. That’s pretty much where I’m at. I’ve heard that CGC also uses technology to assist with their grading. If computers don’t view cards subjectively, which part of the grading process is technology being used..? General curiosity here as cracking and resubbing lower value cards at a more expensive price isn’t feasible.
  6. @PaulS.The new labels show up wavy as well kind sir. Can provide pics after work.
  7. Unless Stevie wonder and I have something in common.. I can’t see how they can possible justify that these two cards are visually (and physically) equal.
  8. Yes, you’re absolutely right. Well deserved 8.5. My confusion lies within the 8.5 centering with Pikachu. We have an alakazam with a blatantly obvious centering issue. However, what makes the Pikachu’s centering an 8.5?
  9. so can we actually get some sort of explanation from someone at CGC for this? I’ve gotten these back in the same submission about a week or so ago. The frustration with this is beyond belief. How the HELL are these both 8.5 centering? Not only does this bring the value of the cards down, but it’s honestly disheartening. and this is just the centering… we won’t even talk about how terrible the backside edges of the alakazam look..
  10. Sub arrived today, expected it tomorrow so nice little surprise. Another surprise was opening the box to unknowingly find that CGC had changed their labels… thanks so much for informing the all of us submitters about such a change…. Not too upset but some communication would be ABSOLUTELY amazing.
  11. UPDATE Delivered - 2/26 Received - 3/15 SFG - 7/9 GEI - 9/1 Grading/QC - 9/28 Shipped - 9/30: 7-card no subs “Shipped” - 10/1: 52-card w/ subs Safe to assume they’ll be shipped out next week as there’s no tracking yet (on top of previous subs being marked as shipped before they’re actually physically shipped). Anyone know why tf things always get shipped out towards the end of the week? Also, hopefully the economy orders received before my bulk get compensated for their troubles. TAT - 31 weeks (and counting)
  12. only thing I could think of logically is the priority of the economy orders for those that got hit with the price increase. pretty much if I were CGC, "what would it look like if we INCREASED the prices and made these people wait so long (like the february march submitters)?"
  13. I don't have any economy submissions, personally. But the fact that there are still dozens of people waiting on economy submissions from MONTHS before this one is the most baffling thing. unreal.
