  3. Hello CGC Forum Members, We have answered many of you privately but we wanted to post here for the rest of you to read. With the exception of a few items of lower value (approximately $300 or less), everything Mike Burkey consigned with ComicConnect had a reserve. Those lots either hit reserve and sold or did not hit reserve and remained unsold. Mike Burkey did not bid on any of his consignments in ComicConnect auctions. Furthermore, the ComicConnect site prevents such occurrences from happening. If you have any further questions please contact us. Thank you. Stephen Fishler CEO
  4. Hello All- Here is how I replied to Enrique- Hi Enrique, I sold you a book, here is a scan (in my email I attached a scan of the real book Roy posted). The book you are selling to Roy has the same label # but there is a different comic in the holder. I am not sure what is going on, I know this is a reprint and most certainly not the comic you were sold. Sincerely, Vincent
  5. Great sale Mark! It was a pleasure. As for the buyer, I couldn't have hand-picked a better guy. This book will be off the market for years. He's a big fan and this is a perfect investment for him.
  6. In early 2010, ComicConnect.com will be conducting a pretty special auction. An auction of the largest collection of double cover comics ever assembled. The auction will only contain double cover books. Over 1,000 double cover comics. Believe it or not. All starting at $1 and all without reserve.
  7. I'd like to add us to the main list. We have a huge Event Auction coming up on February 24 and we are taking consignments. To see the listings: ComicConnect Event Auction Feb 24
  8. I was thinking about starting a mission... I have the "Spider-Man Handbook: The Ultimate Training Manual". Basically, it teaches you how to be like Spider-Man. I don't know if anyone's heard the story about the guy who "traded up" from a paper clip to a house (he started with a paper clip and kept trading it up until he owned a house!)... I'm looking for suggestions on how I can begin "trading up" my handbook so I eventually own an Amazing Fantasy 15. I could simply just buy an AF 15, but it would be much more fun to trade up for it! Any ideas?? Check this out: http://oneredpaperclip.blogspot.com/
