  1. Picked this nice copy up here on the Boards. Interesting back-story of being a Vietnam Vet's copy which was kept in a dresser drawer (which is how I "stored" my comics throughout the 1970s) and which his mom discovered after he'd moved away. Don't know if it's true, but it does sound plausible.
  2. Fingers crossed, but this did only a little to alleviate my primary concern which is that Ryan is just going to use all the same quips, puns, fourth-wall breaking, self-referential Marvel/Feige "jokes" and sight gags he used in Deadpool and then in Deadpool 2 in this movie (and, if I'm honest, playing the same character he plays in every movie, Marvel or not). I am glad to see there appears to be some kind of actual story rather than just a gag reel involved. Also appears to be another script that relies on being stuffed with characters to fill out the running time.
  3. You could check either GPA or MyComicShop to get a sense of it.
  4. Grabbed this copy from one of @Dale Roberts's epic sales threads
  5. There's a lot of that intermittent publication in the pulps especially. It's almost like they had to scrape together the money and when they had enough, they'd publish the next issue. Someone around here knows the actual reasons.
  6. MCS has that issue of the Planet Stories pulp as Nov 1950.
  7. The only reference I can find to this is on MCS with a 1915 publication date. O'Sullivan Rubber Co. Likely a later reprint but fun anyway.
  8. "Well," said all the PB cover artists of the day, "May as well retire. I'll never top that."
  9. One of the holes in my collection. May be underrated but sure isn’t cheap! Would love to get a high grade copy
