That cover #13 ... just think how good it would've been without the "We've done it... What is he" banner running across the comic and the two captions at the bottom. If it was in the style of, say # 67, then we'd have something!!

Almost as annoying as the proliferation of word-balloons on the covers of the 70's issues. As if marvel had to add all this to sell a Spidey comic!! Just my opinion though and I still love every issue in its own right. This is a great forum guys, even though the images of your various collections make me GREEN with envy!! I'm slowly improving my collection tho, having kept only a few from when I was a teenage reader and no key issues at that!!

The scans you all post really whet my appetite tho and I'm working my way through the first 200 (none below #20 yet though!)
