This is one of the best looking copies of Daredevil #1 in the world! It is currently available for bidding on HA.com/7283, from Thursday, October 27, 2022 through Thursday, November 17, 2022. Thanks for checking out my post and please enjoy my write-up below! -Professor ________________________________ 💥 Daredevil #1 CGC 9.4 OW-WP! ✅ Features the origin and 1st appearance of Daredevil (Matt Murdock) + the 1st appearance of Karen Page and Foggy Nelson! ✍ Story written by Stan Lee 👨🏻🎨 Cover Art by Bill Everett and Jack Kirby 🖼 Interior Art by Bill Everett 📊 Overstreet 2022 NM- 9.2 value = $28,000. 📈 Currently ranked #22 on Overstreet’s list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics! ⚖️ CGC Census Report as of 11/08/2022: out of a total of 4,703 Universal copies graded, ONLY 39 copies were graded in 9.4 with only 34 copies graded higher: 32 in 9.6 and 2 in 9.8! ❗️ This represents an impressive rarity factor of ONLY 0.83% of the total population! ____________________________ 📝 WOW! Although this particular copy doesn’t have the “perfect” cover wrap, (as you can see just a slight part of the front cover from the back), what’s special about this copy is the super BRIGHT COLORS (without any cover transparency), the PERFECT CENTERING (the image including the comics code authority stamp are 100% visible and aligned properly), the super TIGHT SPINE, the PERFECT CUT (along the top and along the side) and the PERFECT STAPLE PLACEMENT! 🏆 When I factor in all of these high quality aesthetic properties featured on this pristine CGC 9.4 copy, which represents only 1 of 39 in the world, the very slight mis-wrap on the back cover became a non factor to me, as this copy is by far one of the strongest presenting CGC 9.4s I have seen! 🎥 = 📈 After Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock) made his return cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and with all of the recent announcements that Daredevil will be reprising his role in multiple upcoming MCU projects including She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, Echo, Daredevil: Born Again & Spider-Man: Freshman Year, the future looks extremely bright for The Man Without Fear’s debut appearance in Daredevil #1! 🥂 -Professor Daredevil #1 CGC 9.4 OW-WP

I am looking for a full list of all (Marvel, DC, etc) hero and antagonist appearances. Ideally, the list has to be something that can be downloaded into Excel. Most of the comprehensive lists I've found are incomplete or only capture up to circa 2018. Please don't reply if you even think of suggesting Wiki it is full of far too many errors. I've thought of reaching out to KeyCollector and/or GoCollect, but they have omissions as well. And, not sure if they'd provide the data in Excel format. I'm hoping there's something out there I have missed. Many Thanks

Offering the three issue Galactus arc as a set. Paypal preferred but not required, no HOSers. Shipping is free to contiguous U.S., at cost otherwise. These are low grade, particularly the 49 and 50, so NO returns here. If you aren't ready for whooped, this is not the lot for you. The 48 is complete and attached. It has seen water, and the top staple is rusted and has bled thru. The 49 is missing 3 pages and the back cover. All story pages are present! It officially counts as a copy. The 50 is missing 2 pages and back cover, but again, the story is complete. Extra staples have been added to the 49 and 50. The lot is priced at $500.

Good morning everyone, I recently purchased Hulk 181 CGC 9.8 for $14,500.00 , i was really pleased since it seemed like a great price. I got the book and noticed a crease on the back cover. My question is: Should i keep it or return it? The OCD is killing me, but i doubt i will ever again get this book for this price. Any advice will help. Thanks

Merry Christmas! My annual Holiday Sales Thread will begin tonight at 7 PM CST. I'll be listing hundreds of books over the next month. In fact, I have no doubt that this will be the best group of books at the best prices that I have ever offered. Invoices will be sent in mid January, and no shipping will occur until that time. So even if you don't have enough cash right now, you have about 1 month to save up for your purchases. I've had my best year in comics, between my website and the conventions which I have done. I've been extremely active buying this year. Not only have I been setting stuff aside all year long for this sale, but I also have just purchased a huge collection of primarily high grade books. Many of these books will be offered here before anywhere else. All of these books will be accurately graded and there is a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of them. There will be Golden Age, Silver Age, and Bronze age. There are keys, semi-keys, movie books, high grades, mid grades, and low grades, and as always, lots of books that you just don't see offered. Almost all of it will be CHEAP, heavily discounted in some cases! Lots and lots of bargains for the collector, and even room for dealers to make money. Lots of Neal Adams, Bernie Wrightson, and Jim Steranko! Frazetta, Schomburg, Baker, and LB Cole covers, GGA, Pre-code horror, Pre Hero Atlas, and cool Romance books that you just don't see. There should be something for everyone, and at a price you will like. Typical board rules apply. is king! I welcome reasonable offers by PM, but not 30 seconds after the book has been posted. And no editing of I'll Take its. If you click it, its yours. Payment - Paypal is the preferred method of payment, but I will accept checks or money orders. I also do time payments on purchases (combined or individual) of more than $500.00, but you must ask before clicking the I'll take it. I prefer NOT to draw payments out more than a couple of months, and if you do time payments with me, you can't be buying other stuff on the boards, while I am waiting for your payment . And typically speaking, I don't do discounts and time payments together. Shipping - I will ship worldwide. I use Fed Ex on large shipments (and purchases over $2000) and USPS Priority for everything else. USA Priority shipping begins at $8.00, and goes up from there. I do not use first class shipping for international. Priority mail is the only option, unless you clear it with me first. Listing schedule - This is a tentative schedule, due to potential family or holiday activities, but I will stick to it as nearly as I can. Thursday December 12th - 7 PM CST Sunday December 15th - 8 PM CST Thursday December 19th - 7 PM CST Sunday December 22nd - 8 PM CST Thursday December 26th - 6 PM CST Sunday December 29th - 8 PM CST Thursday January 9th - 7 PM CST Sunday January 12th - 8 PM CST - Grand Finale! The pics below are a tiny fraction of the stuff that will be offered. If you have questions or requests, please PM them to me. Thanks for looking and get ready to grab some books!

Which of the Venom: First Host comics is considered the first appearance of Sleeper?

Which comic issue is considered the 1st appearance of Old Man Phoenix. Wolverine as an Old Man with the Phoenix force. Not to be confused with the Old Man Logan character. He appeared in Thor vol 5 #1 when he had a cameo on the last page and again in the story in issue #5. Story line wise he is actually the Wolverine version that goes back in time to get one of the Infinity Stones in Marvel Legacy #1. CGC notes this particular appearance as Wolverine returns and not as the Old Man Phoenix character. I may be splitting straws at this point. But I'm huge on keynotes being accurate on graded comics. I love having that keynote to refer to when bidding on a comic's worth or when a 1st appearance discussion arises.

Ok, So Quick Question, how does CGC verify or see what qualifies as a first appearance for their labels? It's been something that was on my mind before I started using CGC for grading 4 months ago, but recently came into question when I recieved my Naomi #1 back. Bendis has stated that the book is her first appearance, but the CGC label doesnt note that. So hwo is it determined? Do they have a contact with local publishers? Do they go by price guides and media sources? Do they discuss this and decide on their own? Do they consult the Artist and or Writers? etc. Must the character have staying power and return again in another issue to qualify as even appearing at all? I ask because now with comic and dollar bin hunters out there using apps like KeyCollectors or BOLO video's etc., I don't believe some of those appearances qualify as actual first appearances of anything. Ill give you 2 examples 1 old and 1 semi old. 1st, Cindy Moon aka SILK: So Silk's first appearance (considered by collectors and CGC alike) as far as i know is ASM #4 from 2014. I have a CGC copy and the label reads "Cindy Moon becomes Silk". But if you look for Cindy Moons 1st appearance, its stated that it is ASM #1 from that same run. She has a cameo and collectors consider that Cindy's 1st appearance. On most CGC labels I have seen, Cindy isnt anywhere listed, not even as a cameo on the label. So what book does CGC consider her first appearance and does it show on the Label? If Cindy "becomes" Silk in issue #4 why isnt that Silk's 1st appearance? ************************* 2nd, Major X: So I know there is much drama from the Rob Liefield post to the original artist post about the 1st appearance of Major X. How did CGC decide to go with MX#1 as the first appearance? Was that from marvel? Was that From Rob? Why was SPD/DP #47 dismissed as even a Cameo? How does this work? Signed Comic-Q, also new to using CGC Q.

So I want to start collecting new comics of key issues like Cameos, 1st/Full Appearances, Deaths, ect. I am looking for a site that would show theses things of upcoming next weeks comics. I don't really need past issues, as CGC census works perfectly for confirming the titles. I can read the plot of the comics that are coming out, and it does help, but would be nice if there is a website that has confirmed information. Thanks in advanced

I just returned from Phoenix Arizona where I purchased a great Marvel Silver Age collection from the original owner. It is approximately 400 books and I am selling the bulk of them individually on eBay. Some of them are very high grade (Such as the X-Men #40 below which I am sending off to the CGC soon) Titles include Sgt. Fury, Thor, JIM, TOS, ASM, FF, Avengers, Iron Man just to name a few. You can tell these are all from the same owner and store as 80% of them have an identical store date stamp on the back cover - usually in the same place. (All purchased at his local pharmacy in Canada I was told) These are all uncleaned and unpressed and in the same raw condition they were purchased in. I'm posting scans of some of the nicer books below, some of which I will be auctioning later after they are graded - some of which are being sold now. Please check out the auctions and feel free to share! Here's an auction link https://www.ebay.com/sch/ivegotneatstuff/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&rt=nc&LH_Auction=1

hello, I'm new to this forum and was wondering what everyone's thoughts were about restoration, I recently acquired a tales of suspense 39 in a cgc .5 grade. The reason for this grade is the book was torn in half vertically then reattached with tape. I asked cgc what options I had and they mentioned mending the pages with rice paper after removing the tape. This method would give the book a qualified grade of 4.0-5.0, would this be worth doing to this type of book or just leave it alone?( the cost runs about $1000 max but could be less)
