I recently bought this great copy of a iron man and submariner 1 and found that when it came it had extremely jagged right hand side of the comic and that it was not perfectly cut was just wondering if you guys think this comic was miscut or trimmed?

I thought thses comic books were lost and gone, but then I found that they were being auctioned off I’ve already reported to the police and have had them flagged as stolen, If you happen to own these comic books please return them back to the original auction company you purchased them from, do not buy if you see them online being sold, there is a police report on this item, I have not told the auction house the correct information as I am letting this be handled by the police, These comics will be red flagged a stolen, I have talk to a police officer if anybody would like the number of the police officer I will not be providing the information on here as like I said I am only allowing this to be handled by the police, I noticed that this webpage changed when I posted this as I think that the auction house is deceiving people and I believe they know that this items were stolen as I can prove receipts and I can also prove that these comics were in my position in New Jersey which is where the items were stolenhttps://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/126921893_spider-geddon-0-cgc-graded-98-signed

Just got 6 books back from Brian M. Bendis Signing: Very disappointing grades on all but 2 (9.8s), which would be great if CGC had bothered to seal their cases. Only the 9.8s are unsealed. The worst has what I think is a very unhealthy 2.5 mm gap in the top of the case, exposing the book to all kinds of things. I tried to use a ruler to measure this from the top this but ended up just placing the ruler between the label and the plastic--there was a lot of room—so I hope you can see it. The 2nd book is not quite as bad. Please see the photos below. If I do try to get CGC to fix this, will they charge me to re-holder (their own defective or poorly processed case)? Will they charge me for re-holdering & shipping? Also, can they wreck the books while "fixing" or re-holdering— and change the grades? My books have been getting horrible grades lately, mostly SS 9.4s on what used to be 9.8s. Problems that are NOT in my original photographs. NO Grader notes. Please advise. Thanks!

I submitted a brand new Silver Surfer Rebirth #1 to CGC for the Mico Suayan private signing and remarking, paying $150 for the service. I received the book from BigTimeCollectibles, and it was in excellent condition. I took a picture of it and checked it over to make sure it was a 9.8, and it was, so I send it off. I don’t send ANY modern books in unless they are at least a 9.8/9.6. I receive the book back, and it’s graded at 9.2 (Grader’s Notes: light staining on the cover). I know, for a fact, there was not a stain on the cover! There doesn’t even appear to be a stain in encapsulation. I have emailed and called CGC to try to figure out what went wrong and how to get this rectified, but have not received a satisfactory answer yet. I got in touch with one agent who said someone’s book had recently been ruined when a handler/artist spilled hand sanitizer on it! What the hell?? I know you sign a waiver, but, to me, that means minor dings, not someone STAINING YOUR BOOK! This is absolutely careless and ridiculous on the part of CGC. I’ve also included pictures of multiple stress marks that were not there and the comparison image I took before sending it off. I don’t send books to you to destroy, CGC! At least have the decency to refund the signing/remarking. I didn’t pay $150 to have my book “stained.” Someone needs to answer my inquiry, and you need to correct this, CGC!

I will be closing this thread tonight, and will likely tuck these away in my pc if they do not sell. Here’s the fine print: CONUS only, unless we have agreed on other arrangements ahead of time. ABSOLUTELY NO PL/Hall of Shamers, or probies. The first “Take” wins. A definite "I'll take it" in the thread trumps pending negotiations. I'm sure most of you know the routine. Please review photos carefully and ask any questions beforehand. I accept instant payment via PayPal. That's it. SHIPPING: Unless a different method is agreed upon beforehand, shipping in the CONUS will be USPS Priority $20 for raw or graded books with both insurance and signature required, unless specified otherwise. For bundle deals, we will have to work out something on shipping ahead of time. Again, U.S. only unless we talk first. Returns are fine within 7 days of receipt for raw books, but Buyer must cover return costs, and items must be returned in their original condition.

I have been waiting for a callback from a supervisor for nearly 2 weeks now. Does the sheer amount of new customers for CGC mean that they can now throw customer service out the window? I had 15 comic books that were never pressed by CCS. I paid for this service and then the CGC grading. Every last dollar was a waste. How is this justified?

hi guys So 10 months ago i sent two ASM 361's to be signed and Marc Bagley and pressed at CGC. After about 3 months of checking to see if my comics where received by CGC i decided to email and ask as using my order number/tracking number wasn't producing any results, after speaking via email to a customer service agent they assured my my package had been received and was in processing. so I left it for a good couple of months and kept using my order code to see if there where any updates again nothing came up on my members page but knowing how busy CGC has been I decided to just let the process happen and hope they were getting on with it. Fast forward to now and I emailed to ask where my comics are up too (still no update on the website) to be to told that submission has not been processed? which im not quite sure what that means? and now since then I've been ignored by the customer service person on email and have been left on read on the CGC Facebook chat im just trying to see where my comics are up too and if there even in possession of the comics? sorry in advance if I've asked this question on the wrong topic/board Thanks in advance for any help!!

Hello everyone, I guess this is a topic that has already been covered, however after 7 months I have just received the 24 comics I had sent for evaluation and 15 of them show evident signs of something that seems 'oily' but maybe it is air bubbles. Does anyone know CGC's 'politics' in the face of these cases? Honestly, it is evident that these are 'defective' comics, which for example will be difficult to resell, because I am very accurate in the descriptions and I myself would not buy a comic in a similar situation. Can anyone give me some advice? (I don't live in the USA) thank you very much!

Hello, I have a PSA graded card as 'Authentic Altered'. PSA doesn't assign number grading to genuine altered cards except for the grading of 'Authentic'. If I submit this to CGC can the card be number graded using the Green Label with the qualifier alteration listed on the label. The alteration is someone tried to fix the whiting on the back.
