Hi, new to the site, but I’m wondering if any rep would be in california and could get a few books signed and graded at a signing if I paid them? Or is this the wrong place to ask for that sort of thing. Anyways I dream of getting Geoff Johns siniture, but he is only out in CA and I’m in FL, hes doing a signing on march 31st at Earth 2 comics i’d pay for a rep to get and get a few comics signed/ submitted for a grade, is that a service they provde?

I have one book to sell today, I'm selling it for a friend, but I have it in hand. I take Checks, MO's and PP. Shipping is exact wherever you live, but I must mail it signature required (priority mail) or my insurance won't cover it, so if you live in Canada or Australia, please keep that in mind. Returns for any reason within 7 days of receipt. Book must be packed the way I sent it and sent the same way. Shipping (since it's a slab) would be the responsibility of the buyer. First wins, here or in a PM I do not sell to people on the probation list, or the HOS. Payment is due within 7 days unless we have made other arrangements by pm before you take the book. Does anyone know what days CGC will be available at Emerald City comic con, if it's in an area accessible to those without a pass, and if they only accept cash? I didn't get my stuff authenticated last year but now I realize it would have been much easier if I just did it all same day...

I was robbed at my rental in Surrey B.C. Canada. They stole 8 slabbed books. I called around and reported them stolen. About a week later Central City Comics in Surrey called and told me they had them and they got the ID of who stole them. I called the police and told the first officer(McBride surrey RCMP). He said to get receipts together to prove I owned them. I then got a hold of everyone I bought these books from and got hand written receipts along with the Paypal invoice on when I bought them. Well the first officer was then in a car accident. He was not returning my calls or the comic shops. I then called his superior and he assigned a new officer but that took time. By then the comic store had sold my books. saying they tried to call that officer but got no call back so they sold them and don't know who they sold them too. Does that leave me high and dry? Even though the store knowingly sold them? I do have pictures and invoices?

I will continue to update the 2nd and 3rd posts in this thread to recap what has been donated. What can you donate to the prize pool? Whatever you want, really. I wouldn't suggest offering up some really crappy stuff though, or things that are worth less than the shipping cost. I also would never ask anyone to donate multi-hundred dollar items, but that certainly has happened many times before. In the end, it's all up to you what you'd like to offer. Would a spine binding mistake affect value negatively or positively, or at all? This book is under $100 graded 9.2 but there are no graders notes, and i wonder if this is why it got a lower grade... See in the pics and hopefully it makes more sense than the way i describe it. Book looks clean to me, but im no pro
