About Me

  1. Hey guys! I wanted to share something very special with you! I bought this last week and it just arrived the other day! It's so beautiful, I love it! This is the extremely rare Twisted Metal 2 one-shot comic book which was released in 1996 to promote the game that was originally released on PlayStation. The only issue that was ever created and only 100 copies were ever printed. It was published by DC Comics. Half of them were handed out to fans as prizes and the other 50 were assumed lost and/or destroyed. I think maybe some fans might have requested a copy but I'm not sure. Unofficially, from the chatter I've read online, only about 5 copies are known to be in existence currently and this copy is in near mint condition. It's so rare that it's considered the "Holy Grail" of Twisted Metal memorabilia. It is also considered to be canon, as it was written in conjunction with Twisted Metal 2. The only real flaw is it has a very small imperfection at the top right of the book but I could care less about that. For it being 23 years old, I'd say that's pretty damn good! If you want to read more info on this comic book, check out the link below: https://twistedmetal.fandom.com/…/Twisted_Metal_2:_The_Comic I feel so lucky to own this! I knew I had to act on this immediately because I wasn't going to get another opportunity any time soon. You can't find this anywhere! Twisted Metal 2 was one of my favorite games from my childhood. Who played this video game series as a kid back in the day? What's even more nostalgic about this for me is Crash Bandicoot is on the top left of the back cover, right next to Sweetooth's head! The whole thing is just so perfect for me! I feel like this is now my most prized possession!
  2. I submitted two comic books for grading and sent them to the Florida address. UPS states that the package was delivered 11 days ago (delivered on 3/5/21). Any idea how long it will take to appear in the "my submissions" area? I know the grading will take a long time, but I want to make sure they received it!
  3. Hello again friends, I'd like to thank the people who purchased books from me, I really appreciate it!!! I'm going to close this thread down and try again when I have some more time to put things together a little better. Thanks again for stopping by and I'll see you all again soon!!! Eddie Hello again my friends!!! It's been a little while since I've posted a sale, so I figured why not lighten the load. If I don't have it, I don't have to move it someplace else!!! That said, let's get on with it!!! RULES!!! 1. If you're on some sort of "bad behavior list" don't bother looking. I'm a nice guy but not that nice. 2. first trumps any pm deals. 3. PayPal only payments please. 4. Shipping: I prefer Priority mail (your books get to you faster and can be tracked.) I'm happy to do First class mail as well. I'm really not the biggest fan of MEDIA MAIL!!! It's cheap yes but you get what you pay for... I don't want anyone's books getting messed up because of the crappy service Media mail offers. 5. I will PM totals including shipping and ask for your full name and address. At that time, if you are still shopping let me know and I'll build you a stack. That said, Thanks for stopping in and looking around. Let's get to the books!!! P.S. If you have any questions or would like to see more photos of a certain book I can be reached at the link below. Yes...I realize the text is quite small... PM EDDIE Why not start with some dollar books!!! All books are in VF to NM condition (with the odd VG) I'll probably add more as I dig through boxes. 10. Hi comicheads, We create interactive digital graphic novels featuring metal bands from all over the world. The comic books are created in collaboration with real bands, based on their true stories and history. After conducting an initial interview with the band, we add some epic fantasy and mythology to the storyline, as well as use inspiration from their lyrics and real-life events from the band’s history. The bands, as well as record labels, become our close partners and collaborate during the creation and distribution of the graphic novels. Combining the story with new tech we present a digital comic book of the metal bands to their metalhead fans and not only. "EMISSARY OF THE ANUNNAKI:THE TALE OF THE FIRE KING" metal-themed graphic comics novel. It promises an engaging journey into the Grim Sumerian Underworld as well a sneak-peek of the mysterious fiery planet of Nibiru. It is an interactive story of a metal band mixed with dark fantasy, mythology, and documentary. This is not advertising, just assist us, soon we'll lunch a campaign in Kickstarter. Please, subscribe for release here: http://md-comics.com Thanks a lot!!!! *dear admin, if you want to delete this Topic, SORRY for it

  19. Hello all! I'm going to be downsizing my operations to focus on my day job while maintaining an online presence selling graded books and keys. I LOVE doing shows, but my real life situation doesn't allow me to do as many as I would like, nor allow me to travel for them, so it's time to pull the plug as they say. Therefore, it's time to clear out a big chunk of my inventory, so I'm going to post this here first and foremost, and see if there any takers for the entire lot. I will officially close it by the end of the week-end in order to 'legally' advertise it elsewhere. On to the fun stuff! Asking price: $15,000.00 CAD (Estimated real retail market value $60K+ CAD) Shipping/delivery terms: Pick-up only. Location: Montreal, QC, Canada Grade: Grades vary of course, but the 1985-present stuff is on average 9.4. The Silver Age stuff is mostly low grade (5.0 and lower), while the Bronze Age stuff is pretty solid for the most part--6.0 and higher for the most part. The books have been stored in a clean and dry storage facility, so no need to worry about this being a water-damaged, etc. lot. Miscellaneous: All but 7-8 boxes have been processed and are ready to go if you want to start a business. In other words, you don't have to spend 700 hours prepping these books. Bags and boards are relatively new (<5 years) for the processed stuff. Are there any keys?: There are no big keys in here. I'm keeping the pricier books and graded books, but that doesn't mean this has been cherry-picked. All of the under $40.00 books are still there. There are TONS of lower-end "wall books." About 50* longboxes broken down as follows: 24 longboxes of my main Bronze to Current inventory. Consists of books priced between $4.00-35.00 each. I’d say the average sticker price is north of $7.00 (and I don’t jack sticker prices up). Long runs of solid-selling titles like ASM, BATMAN, WALKING DEAD, HARLEY QUINN, DEADPOOL, X-MEN, etc… These boxes are my bread and butter. I try to stock only quality books in these. Lots of classic covers and minor keys, as well as variants. 6 longboxes of sets. Lots of pricier sets such as CIVIL WAR, HUSH, OLD MAN LOGAN, MARVEL SUPERHEROES SECRET WARS, CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS, NOVA vol. 1, SHE-HULK vol. 1, INFINITY GAUNTLET, THE LONG HALLOWEEN, etc… 4 long boxes of “cheapies.” These are mostly books that most vendors prices at $3.00-5.00 each, but I normally blow out. Mostly modern stuff with some low grade Silver Age (SA), Bronze Age (BA) and lower end Copper (CA) books. 4-5 longboxes of “discount” oldies. This is mostly lower end SA and BA books, many of which were purchased from a large store purchase and I didn’t want to reprocess it all so I simply put them in 50% off bins since their sticker prices were rather high. 2 long boxes of SA books. A nice mix of stuff priced under $40.00 each. 1 longbox or so of magazines and older Marvel Graphic novels. Several $40.00+ items. 6 or so long boxes of TPBs and HCs, including a few pricey editions. 1 magazine box of fanzines, art folios, Fireside Books, and other misc. type items. 4-5 boxes of overstock. Most of it consist of Spidey, X-Men and Bat titles. The photos below show most of the boxes. Thanks for looking and don't hesitate to ask questions. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * The exact number of boxes per category might be off. I have to triple check.
