Huge Vancouver Comic Show Saturday April 6 to Sunday April 7, 2024 at the PNE Forum building in east Vancouver, BC, Canada. 400 x 8' dealer's tables, independent press, artist alley, comic-centric with lots of back issues, graphic novels, pop culture mags, Funko Pop toys, DVDs and cosplay too. First time CGC Comics, Cards, Video tapes will be there via Grosnor Distribution from ON, Canada so start pressing and cleaning your comic and hobby card submissions now please. Family fun with Saturday adult admission $22 or 2 day weekend pass only $25 for both days. Free or paid parking within 2 block walk from Forum centre. 501st Legion available for Star Wars group fun pics. In-house cafe and food trucks available on site or restaurants only one (1) block away: Burger King, Starbuck's, Tim Horton's, Vietnamese cafe, and beer. A growing annual pop culture show and cosplay contest in Kelowna, BC on Sat. August 19 to Sun. August 20, 2023 in the Capital News Centre next to an ice rink and pub for meals. Independent press comic creators and pro cosplayers to be announced on their website and social media. Vendor, gaming, and interview layout is here. Some of the vintage comic book and pop culture mag dealers include: Nels' Anthill Books and Comics (end cap), House of Markus Comics (corner booth), Comic Adventures (end cap comprised of Calgary, AB and Vancouver, BC vendors), and Rene Gross's Comics and Toys (end cap). Sunday admission is only $30, FREE parking or there is a bus loop next door. There is also a cafe inside the Centre for lunch, coffee and snacks. Please join us, if you are on a winery or comic tour that weekend in the central Okanagan, BC, Canada.

Our 2nd show is Aug 20th after our first one in May. 18 dealers with 36 tables of comics and related items. Free Admission and Free Parking. I will be marketing to larger cities this time around. Last show was 300 to 400 estimated so I would like to get the numbers higher. See flyer below as well as Facebook page for show. Comic-centric Vancouver, BC Comic Show with over 22,000 square feet of sold out 200+ Pop Culture vendor's tables. Comic book back issue and toy dealer's from Western Canada, Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland will be setting up at this family fun event. General admission is $14 and Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) Forum customer and dealer parking is $13. FREE street parking, and door prizes include at least 3x $50 and 3 x $100 gift cards. 4 ATM's, coffee shop and food trucks will be available. Face masks are mandatory for collectors and dealers. Proof of Covid-19 double vaccination and photo I.D. for entry per BC Health guidelines. FREE hand-sanitizer will be provided. Plastic City Comic Con is proud to announce this years guest of Honor! The great "ROY THOMAS" will be joining us this August for his only New England Appearance in 2020!! Roy Thomas is a legendary comic book writer and editor, who was Stan Lee's protege and first successor as editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics. He is known for co-creating some of comics' greatest characters such as Wolverine, Carol Danvers, Morbius, Vision, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Valkyrie, Ultron, Red Guardian, Black Knight and so many more. He also introduced the pulp magazine heroes Conan and Red Sonja along with the sci-fi fantasy Star Wars to Marvel Comics. Roy has had lengthy writing stints on Marvel's X-Men and Avengers, and DC Comics' All-Star Squadron and Infinity, Inc., among many other titles, books, and a few movies. He was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2011, currently edits the comics-history magazine Alter Ego and is working on a few upcoming Marvel projects. Hi, I have had these forever. They are believed to be tabletop standees, that stood on the tables of the 1964 NY Comic Con. Batman / Flash Although they are in a frame, they are tabletop standees and have rigid cardboard attached behind frame ( as seen in one of my pictures ). Each one measures 2' x 3'... Looking for any other info or anyone that may have original picture of 1964 Comic Con, or someone that is still alive that may have attended to verify?

Are there any facilitators attending the Great Philadelphia Comic Con on April 27th-29th? I'd like to get a few books signed and graded. -
I am going to C2E2 and dropping off 3 books to be graded. I have filled out all the paperwork in advance. My question is do we pay when we drop them off or does CGC bill us then we get the books? This is my first time getting anything graded.
