Hey everyone just got back into collecting the kid in me is loving this mostly cards and some comics found out Futurama made a comic series and I got these #1 and #2 bongo Futurama comics was wondering what you think these would get for a grade. I don't know much about grading yet but i know there's a few blemishes and was wondering how much they would affect the grade. Any advice is appreciated thank you!

I’ve been collecting for a few years now and have amassed a large and fairly valuable collection (40k) and was curious on any recommendations, if any, there are for insurance on these??

Howdy Gang! Starting a new thread, for the most part a mixed grille of 40's through 70's comics, but there will be a small handful of pulps, and a nice smattering of vintage paperbacks. Ol' @Surfing Alien has again inspired me, First off though: DA RULEZ I'll put up a big scan of the FC, note anything else I spot, and as always, if you'd like a scan of the back cover I'll be happy to supply it. Shipping to USA preferred, but if you want something sent to Canada or overseas PM me and we'll work something out. :TAKEIT: rules the roost, but PM's, kibitzing, and general tomfoolery are welcome. $10.00 Priority shipping to the USA for one to four comics, one or two paperbacks, or one or two pulps, well packed in a padded envelope. $17.00 boxed Priority for larger quantities. Canada or overseas to be determined. $17.00 for slabs, double boxed, shipped Priority. CHECK OR MONEY ORDER GREATLY PREFERRED, I despise paypal. If you just GOTTA pay with paypal PM me first and we'll work something out. Returns for any reason on your dime, and for any missed major flaw or bad description on my dime. My Kudos thread: https://boards.cgccomics.com/topic/196720-catrick339-nuff-said/#comments Here we go! Little Max 1 Gotta love an infinity cover, right? Water at both staples, they're rusty with some migation. Small corner off lower RH FC. Otherwise flat and tight. Asking $10 SOLD!

Greetings Gang! I'tls time for another edition of Rick's Quest To Reclaim His Garage, an ongoing saga that actually made some headway this summer. This time around I'm going to list a big ol' pile of misc pulps, all complete, a handful of them quite nice, a bunch more in midgrade, and a handful that are rough. Some nice paperbacks, plenty of Gold Medal and Pocket Books, misc other publishers. Along with them there's a big ol' pile of 50's and 60's comics, leaning toward DC science fiction with a nice mix of other stuff too. EVERYTHING in this thread will be a flat ten bucks, or a freebie with a purchase. First off: DA RULEZ I'll put up a big scan of the FC, note anything else I spot, and as always, if you'd like a scan of the back cover I'll be happy to supply it. Shipping to USA preferred, but if you want something sent to Canada or overseas PM me and we'll work something out. :TAKEIT: rules the roost, but PM's, kibitzing, and general tomfoolery are welcome. $10.00 Priority shipping to the USA for one to four comics, or two pulps, or two paperbacks, well packed in a padded envelope. $17.00 boxed Priority for larger quantities. Today's theme is Pulp Magazines. Here we go! Air Trails Dec 1937, bedsheet size Quite a number of reproduction pages inside, but a complete reader. FREE with the NEXT purchase, just claim it!

Hello, first time posting and i had a question and concerns i got my first 2 comics witnessed and left at CGC booth on the C2E2 convention and also some WWE/auto cards to CSG It’s been almost 3 weeks and no update if they had been delivered to their place. is it normal to take this long? Or they don’t update you? Also i read that you are supposed to pack the cards on the order they were or there was going to be delays, but I didn’t do the packaging. Will it still affect the grading process for the cards? and if the items were to get lost will they take care of it? thank you.

What if you had a time capsule with the first 50 issues of Nintendo Power, never opened? Would you break them out and slab them individually? Would you try to sell them as an intact single item? How would you appraise a collection like that without appraising and slabbing each individual volume? # What I have: - Never opened, Nintendo Power Issues 1-50 in an official shipping box from Nintendo - The original packing slip - The original invoice - The Nintendo Power Index for volumes 1-50 also unopened # The Story In the late 80s early 90s, Nintendo mailed out an advertisement to their few but loyal Nintendo Power magazine subscribers. The offer was simple. "Does your kid constantly have copies of Nintendo Power Magazine spread out on his floor? Has he ripped out the jelly-smeared maps and guides and taped them to his wall? Why not buy a fresh/backup copy of issues 1-50 at a discount price?" My mom apparently ordered this bundle, and never told me. 30 years later, I still have them, never opened. The pages still have that new magazine smell and crisp clean sound.

Hi everyone! this sales thread will feature material from various countries related to World War 2 (and the interwar period), comics and other illustrated printed stuff. Some of this material is pretty scarce or rare, some is uncommon, most are duplicates from a research I have been conducting in the last 6-7 years I think a good portion of american collectors may be unfamiliar with a number of these items. IMPORTANT: Each item will have a double price in USD / Euro. If you are paying in Euro via bank transfer I will apply a 5% discount. Payment methods accepted: Paypal, bank transfer (Wise, or other methods). In case I already know you, International Bank transfers are fine. Please no people on the HoS or Probation list. I will combine shipping costs and try to have the less expensive options from Italy. You can find my kudos thread here. Beware: I am based in Italy. Postage costs are pretty high, so check the table below. Rules: The first (icon or text) in thread wins. You can purchase by PM but at your own risk – I will go by time stamp. Shipping rates: I ship from Italy. Rates indicatively as follows (Zone 1 is Europe and UK, Zone 2 is Americas, Asia and Africa, and Zone 3 Oceania). I am inclined to use Registered, as Airmail does not have a tracking number, but if we’re acquainted and you’re willing to take the risk I can ship via regular Airmail or with a cheaper option which could take more time. For total amounts of over $300 I will ship to USA through registered courrier for $39. (good up to 1kg, approx 2,2 lbs.), or $45 (up to 2kg, approx 4,4 lbs.). Zone1 Zone2 Zone3 Airmail / 1-2 bks: 11.00 16.00 20.50 USD Airmail / up to 8-10 bks: 13.50 21.00 27.00 USD Airmail / up to 16-20 bks: 21.50 34.50 41.00 USD Registered / 1-2 bks: 17.50 22.60 28.80 USD Registered / up to 8-10 bks: 23.50 32.50 43.00 USD Return policy: I generally do not offer returns as it would be impractical cost-wise from here, but in the unfortunate case I missed something drastic (like a cut out page or ad) I will make sure to make you whole. Thanks for looking!

Hello everyone, I guess this is a topic that has already been covered, however after 7 months I have just received the 24 comics I had sent for evaluation and 15 of them show evident signs of something that seems 'oily' but maybe it is air bubbles. Does anyone know CGC's 'politics' in the face of these cases? Honestly, it is evident that these are 'defective' comics, which for example will be difficult to resell, because I am very accurate in the descriptions and I myself would not buy a comic in a similar situation. Can anyone give me some advice? (I don't live in the USA) thank you very much!

The Future of Comic Books Me and my coworkers had a discussion today, because I recently bought a Hulk 181. They decided to bring up how baseball cards used to be worth a lot before, but currently the interest is slim to none. With today's generation, how does everyone feel the market will be in the future for comics? Do they think it'll continue to grow, or eventually die out?

So I have a decent sized collection of comics probably around 600 or so from late 80s to mid to late 90s. I just wanted to know how to go about selling them or getting then graded, if it's worth my time or if there's people out there that will offer a good deal/price for collection of that size
