I own Quadrant #1 by Peter Hsu in mint condition without creases, a clean, white cover, sharp corners and staples and pages intact. The only perceptible flaw is a 2mm tear along the right edge of the cover. Because the margins of the cover are white, you don't notice this 2mm tear until you hold the book to the light. This book has always been in a bag since 1983. I have been studying the CGC grading system and I'm no stranger to grading, but I don't know how to grade this book. I know that tears detract from a grade, but also overall presentation counts. Can anyone offer advice? Please see photos: a shot of the full cover, and a close-up of the area around the tear (look for a small greyish area about a third down from the top for the tear). I'm pursuing a Bronze Age comic book, an Annual issue - which means it has a box spine. I'm one of those collectors who avoids comics if the cover is rotated or shifted, showing the white edge on the spine when it shifts to the right, or where the comic words or price get cut-off when it shifts to the left. Almost all of the Annual issues I look at have some form of shifting. I'm prepared now to buy one with minimal rotating/shifting. However, I've discovered that if the cover is shifted, the pages on the inside also follow. I've seen some where a portion of the story gets cutoff. I see CGC doesn't appear to grade down the "box" issues when the cover is shifted. However, if an internal pages is shifted enough to cut into the edge of story, does that lower the grade of the comic? Thanks for your time. -

I recently picked up this Marvel Premiere 15 double cover. First double cover I have ever found ‘in the wild’! The person I was buying it from didn’t even know it was a double, they had never opened it! (I always closely inspect books i purchase and go through them page by page). Just wondering if we have any idea as to the rarity/frequency of double covers? Any way to tell if there are any more Marvel Premiere 15 double covers out there? How does it affect the value? Show me your double covers people!!!

It has been a little while since I have posted here or even had an Art Day I wanted to share, but this is a pretty good one. The original Campbell run of Gen 13 is one of my favorite comics from the mid-90s. Last year I was able to score my grail, the cover to Gen 13 #1 and I have been jonesing for another ever since. It has taken me over a year to get another Campbell cover but it was worth the wait. I have added the cover to Gen13 #17 by J Scott Campbell to my ever growing Gen13 collection on my CAF. Hi, complete newbie here. I just received a copy of She-Hulk #1, but it looks like there's a part of the back cover missing. I don't see anything else wrong with the book, and it looks fairly high grade otherwise. How badly does this affect the grade? I'm thinking of asking for a refund because this damage was not mentioned by the seller and the photos showed the back cover was not missing any pieces. Thank you. ~Not Quite Bilbo

I recently inherited a collection of Golden Age comics. I would say the conditions range from Good to Fine. But to my dismay I have noticed a handwritten "p" in the upper left corner of each comic. How much devaluation will this handwritten "p" cause?
