Hi everyone, Due to crazy happening I've finally decided that I shall have to liquidate my complete original owner (90% bought off the newstand) collection and I am debating what books are worth sending to CGC, please let me know your thoughts guys, Ive been out of the game for a decade or so, so all feedback is greatly appreciated. I'll be putting up a selection of books that I feel may justify being sent, if I've got it wrong please let me know, I can't afford to mess this decision up!!! All grade advice and guidance is invaluable to me. Also In doing my research today I have discovered something called pressing (wasn't around in my collecting heyday) so if any books look like they may benefit from this please let me know. thanks in advance guys Rye. Rules: No sales to Hall of Shame or Probation List offenders. All sales will be via Paypal Goods and Services. Listed sale prices already include any additional fees incurred on my end. Payment is expected within 48hrs of invoice being sent. After payment is received, I ship the very next business day. Occasionally life may try to interfere, but you will be notified of any delays. The first person to claim the book in the thread by stating "I'll take it" (or similar) gets the book and trumps any PM's or offers. No returns for graded comics. Raw comics may be returned at buyers expense within 7 business days of initial delivery. Shipping: Graded Comics: $14 flat fee for anywhere in the US. This will be Priority Mail shipping and I also include insurance and signature receipt for any single shipment valued $125 or more. All graded comics are shipped in Priority Mail boxes with plenty of bubble wrap and extra wrapping paper/peanuts. Raw Comics: 1-3 comics $4 for First Class Mail. 4-8 comics $8 Priority Mail. 9+ Comics $10 Priority Mail. Depending on the number of comics, I normally use heavily reinforced bubble mailers (first class) or Gemini Comic Mailers/Priority Mail boxes. Condition of Comics: Unless stated otherwise, you can safely assume that all graded comic slabs are in 'as new' condition with no scratches or cracks. 90% of what I have has been slabbed by this year. Unless stated otherwise, you can safely assume that all raw comics are: free from restoration, complete, and fully attached at both staples (cover and all wraps). References: While I am relatively new to the CGC board (lurking over the last 7 months or so), I am certainly no newbie when it comes to invoicing, updating tracking, packaging and posting items. Some raw silver and bronze for your enjoyment. It's been awhile but sadly I have to let some of my collection go. I'm raising money to build out a 40' container to house my reselling business because I'm getting kicked out of the warehouse I currently occupy. I looked to see if there were any new rules that I needed to know but I didn't see anything other than the returns policy so if I miss something please let me know. I will be adding to this thread as I get books scanned but I'm a one man show in my business so getting them scanned and posted will probably be somewhat erratic. That being said, if you have books you've committed to and you decide you don't want to wait any longer on me to get things listed feel free to pull the trigger and I will get them shipped out ASAP. RULES: "I'll take it" in the thread trumps all PM's and negotiations. Payment by Paypal. No bad apples, if you're on one of the lists don't bother. SHIPPING: I ship every day except Saturday and Sunday and Friday my cut off time is noon. Shipping on raw books will be $5 (plus insurance, but only after $50) no matter how many you buy. Hopefully, they’ll be cheap enough to entice you hit the “Take It” gremlin. Bronze and Modern X-Men, Daredevil, and ASM. Later we'll get to Silver age books in lower grades.
