Hi - I am open to trading it (not selling) this inked sketch for another Mignola piece not featuring Hellboy (as counter intuitive as that may seem). In particular I’m looking for an inked sketch that has either Rasputin, a wolf, various creatures or a published page that features architecture. I did a post like this a few months ago to test the waters. Figured I’d toss it out there again with some new and different things. Currently looking for: Darwyn Cooke – Anything (sketches, prelims, pages, commissions). Also open to anything J-Bone inked over Cooke’s pencils. Looking for this in particular: Mignola – Anything (sketches, pages etc.). Hellboy art does not need to feature or include Hellboy. Also open to pages with landscapes/towns as the focus, his gentleman skeleton drawings etc. Looking for this in particular: Al Williamson – Sketches, prelims, Flash Gordon stuff. Will look at pages, but that’s not my focus. Please feel free to respond to the thread or PM. I’ve seen all the things available for these artists under the normal channels, CAF, ComicArtTracker, HA, CL, etc. I have some small things I’d be willing to trade or put towards total cost if applicable. CGC - I have a Hellboy “Grail”- I’ve had this for quite some time but as it goes around here I have my eye on something else so I am offering what I think is a one of kind piece- the book is actually a Fallen Son- Death of captain America book (for those who don’t know sketch variants when this was done were not as abundant as now) but that is not the important part- the art is Hellboy done by Marc Wolfe and done so well it might as well be a published comic and then the book is signed by three different people Mike Mignola Ron Perlman and Guillermo Del Toro in addition to Marc . Looking for a 9.7 or higher, this comic is not hard to find but holds great significance to me, I am not looking to buy one that is not already graded. preferably a first print but this is already a very oddball request. any other Abe comics in cgc are welcome to be offered must include photos. I've tended to skip posting about art days in recent times but the below piece I got yesterday is special enough for me to want to shout about it. A top shelf Mike Mignola Hellboy page, battling a werewolf. Hand lettered art. BOOM punches. Great big panels, all circa 1994. And of course, the kicker - the hand written original price of $250 on it. Sad to say, that isn't what I paid for it, nor can you double or treble etc that to get it from me, thanks for the offer though. It does raise an interesting question though - what art could you have bought in 1994 for $250? A Byrne FF page maybe? A Miracleman page by Davis or Totleben? Most likely just about any Sandman page that was out there....what else? My collecting started around 2000 or 2001 and I was too stupid to gain any sort of collecting focus until a couple of years later. Enjoy the art! Simon
