I have just set up a gallery on my CAF just for consignment art I will be selling for friends. https://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=195644 Currently up for sale there are 4 pieces, with 2 by Jim lee and 2 by Jason Pearson. First is the end page from X-men #8 by Jim Lee & Art Thibert featuring Ghost Rider for $6500, and it comes custom framed, as it has been since the '90s. Next is the manga comic Eat-Man tpb cover by Jim Lee & Scott Williams for $4k. Then there are 2 Jason Pearson pieces featuring his pinup from Prophet #1 back in 1993, and his cover to Xena #9. Both are $1500 each. At this time my friend is really only looking for cash for these pieces. Trade is not something he is into but it may be considered if you have any Wildstorm covers, pinups, or card art by Michael Golden, Arthur Adams, Adam Hughes, or Jason Pearson. Check or MO is preferred, but Paypal is acceptable is you pay the 3% for fees. Best offers will be considered as well. I had put these 2 Wildcats pages by Jim Lee & Scott Williams up here last month for a friend who needed to sell them, but they didn't sell since we were trying for what he paid for them and it was the holidays. But his circumstances have gotten worse so for the next 24 hours he wants me to offer them one last time here but together this time as a 2 page lot for $2000 plus shipping. These sold last year for $1200 and $1800 each, so this is an amazing chance to get $3k in Jim Lee original art for only $2k. First post claiming them here or in a PM to claim will win! I was lucky enough to make an ultra mega original art haul yesterday, well for me its a mega!! It took me a little detective work to find out what was what on this piece, but thankfully it worked out in the end. So what is it??? My new Jim Lee Preview Exclusive Icons book cover!!! So what made it such a chore to research. Well, first theres the pencil version that Jim did. This is the one that Scott Williams inked over. Then there is a Jim Lee/Richard Friend Print. If you look, Friend dated it 2013. I was concerned when I was offered the Williams one, I wasnt sure which was which nor what was going on. So I contacted Jim Lee, Scott Williams, Richard Friend and Albert Moy to get to the bottom of this. Unfortunately Jim did not respond, which is ok, I'm sure Jim gets tons of emails and messages a day and its impossible to get to everyone and to miss things. But however, Scott, Richard and Albert did get back with me. Scott inked the original pencils. A few years later, someone contacted Richard on CAF to have a copy inked. Richard cant remember if it was a blue line copy or just a computer grey pencil copy that he inked over. Then Richard made prints to sell of his piece. So, there is a commissioned "copy", I guess you could say "Recreation" cover out there. Anyway, I am very happy to be able to add this piece to my collection as I transition from comics to more high end OA, well atleast for me this was high end. I had to sell an Amazing Fantasy 15 and trade a McFarlane Spider-Man page along with some cash for it!! The one I bought is the original Lee pencil with Scotts inks, NOT the copy with Richards inks.

Given the disagreement regarding the quality/ranking of the Batman #618 cover coming up for auction, I thought it would be fun to do a poll where people can vote for their favorite covers from the Batman "Hush" storyline by Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee & Scott Williams that appeared in Batman #608-619! I have deliberately excluded the two multi-board gatefold covers to #619, but am including the RRP variant to #608 and the second printing covers to #608 and #619. Anyway, to get a sense of what people's favorite covers are outside of the obvious choices, you may choose up to 5 picks in the poll above. I see that the new Boards' polling system is a piece of # $^& and that you can no longer limit the number of picks that people can choose, so, please be on the honor system and limit your votes to FIVE. Howdy all! I have been moving art to my regular "For Sale" galleries for the past few days with some nice covers, paintings, and trading card art. Some of it is stuff I have had up already and some I have never offered for sale before. There are 2 Stormwatch covers by Scott Clark and Renato Arlem, as well as several Stormwatch pages by Arlem. There are 4 Evil Ernie covers from Joyce Chin, Stephen Segovia, and Nei Ruffino! A few nice paintings from Joe Chiodo, Mielan Zebrowski, Bo Hampton! And lastly there are several pieces of '90s Chaos trading card art and some other various pages, covers, and pinups. Lots of stuff for all budgets! I also set up a special temporary gallery where I have made available 4 pieces from my "Permanent Collection" for a limited time to try to raise a large sum quickly. These include 3 paintings off my walls by Simone Bianchi (Thor cover painting), Simon Bisley (She Hulk painting), Greg Staples (Mars Attacks painting) as well as a stunning pencil and ink swimsuit pinup by Joe Phillips and Jim Lee. The paintings are all framed and matted, and will be removed from frames for shipping if sold, but matting can be kept if desired.
