Opening up my first sales thread. There will be some nice books here, some that you cannot find for sale every day. The wife has decided she wants a farm, thus some of my preciouses must go up on the alter. Focus will be keys and PCH. Most books will be CGC, but I may throw in a few raws. I plan to run this for about 1-2 weeks. Min 1 book per day, possibly 4 if things go well. About me: I have been buying here for years. I have sold to at least three folks. Should I invest in MS Marvel #1 1977 ? Hi folks first time long time! Just like many of you I grew up loving the art and stories that marvel & dc comics offered along with trading cards. I'm a huge fan of the MCU and have watched all movies (expect Iron Man #3, I hear you can miss this one :D) and just started collecting comics that I could never have or missed out on having. So far I have invested in Black Panther #1 GCG 9.8, Avengers #125 CGC 9.8. I know that movie rumors fuel the hype and prices go up. I currently have my eye on MS. Marvel 1977 #1 9.8. Now as many of you know the price is anywhere from 1000-1500. Is this a worthy buy at its current price? Has it always been around this price? Also will it only increase due to trailers dropping or closer when the movie will be released? Not sure if I should buy now or wait. Thanks for any suggestions!

I think my other thread got pulled because I had posted some copper/modern books in the GSB forum. I'm not exactly sure why the whole thread was pulled instead of deleting some of the modern books or without warning but either way I'm restarting this thread minus the copper/modern books. Hey all, I asked this in the newbie forum a couple days ago but didn't really get an answer so I figured I'd try here. I have a lead on someone looking to sell a rubbermade container full of silver-age comics (1960s to mid 70s is what they told me). They want me to come look and make an offer. I'm wondering if someone has a list of Silver Age key comics I could study prior to meeting this person, so if I see an valuable comic I will know I can barter higher when it comes time to talk money. Somebody suggested taking a price guide with me, but I worry the guy selling them would start looking up prices (which are usually inflated in the price guides compared to ebay) and ask for a ridiculous amount of money. But I would like to have a list to study so if I see for example Batman 139 in decent shape I will know "okay he's asking a lot but I can sell that one comic and make back 300 bucks no problem."
