Currently on Heritage. I'm wondering if this is just Jack doing layouts with Sutton doing the bulk of the penciling and inking??? Than would explain the need for the character study on the back. GOLDEN AGE GREEN LANTERN ARCHIVES Vol. 1 NM. Signed by MART NODELL creator of Green Lantern & SHELDON "SHELLY" MOLDOFF Green Lantern main cover artist. MART NODELL signed the 1st leaf to me, and SHELLY MOLDOFF signed page 7 reproducing the cover he drew of the very first Green Lantern comic A true one of a kind ultra-rare comic collectable. Signatures of both of the main artists responsible for the original Green Lantern in one item. Scan shows Martin Nodell and me with the actual book that he signed for me that day at the Tampa Comic Con in 2006 shortly before he passed away. At a later Comic Con I brought the book to Shelly Moldoff for his signature. Book was put in a Brodart dust jacket cover and placed on my bookshelf Starting bid $249. Ends Sunday night 7/6. Dear ladies and lads Time has come after so many years to let a couple of Dell'Otto pieces go. I have to cover some recent purchases, and 2 out of my 4 Dell'Otto pieces are meant to be sold. BATMAN: Lair of the Dark Knight: 4500 usd + shipping. the piece is framed and in excellent condition, never exposed to direct sunlight. It was meant to be published as a cover for a German edition but, based on Gabriele's statement, he does not remember if this came true. However it has been published in his artbooks. SUPERSKRULL 1- ANNHILATION: 6500 usd + shipping the piece has been published as cover during the ANNHiLATION SAGA. Excellent condition as well. Disney's Black Hole was a comic strip drawn by Jack Kirby that was based on the Disney movie of the same name and syndicated in the late seventies . I had the good fortune to come across the complete newspaper printing of the strip and have reproduced it on my website for everyone's enjoyment. I did post it a couple of years ago an now it is back for those that missed it. As well as long time OA collector I've been an artist all of my life involved with Fine Arts except for a very short stint as a colorist for comics (Defiant) and as you would imagine my love for comic art has seeped into my painting from time to time. It has been difficult at times as, in the Fine Arts arena ,comic art is still on the bottom rung of the ladder and any hint of it is frequently looked down on .Having said that and hoping that my fellow board members would be appreciative I would like to show you my latest creation entitled "Heroes of the Western World" (first image,) and the comic illustration images I "borrowed" during it's creation. I referenced that great kirby Rawhide Kid fight scene and those Elvgren girls to fill out the composition . The painting is in acrylic and 36 x 48 inches . I would be very interested in any comments you might offer....Charles
