The Books Lots of Great Golden age books (and a little silver and bronze) General Rules No PL/HOS members The new board software does not display precise thread post times (either in PMs or in sales threads), which can result in the inability to determine whether a PM post or thread post came first. One thing remains certain - it is easy to tell whether one post in a thread came before another post in the same thread. So, the first "take it" posted in the sales thread wins. If we reach a deal via PM, I'll mark books SOLD in the thread as soon as reasonably possible - but if someone else takes the book in the thread before your PM take is acknowledged in the thread (by either you or I), the thread poster is the winner, I'm afraid; so, there is some risk of losing a book if you try to remain anonymous via PM. (Credit to EC Ed for these rules. I have adapted them with his permission) I kindly ask that you not Quote a book and then make a comment. It makes the book appear to be sold. Payment I'll take PayPal for total sales under $1000 if PayPal is your preferred method. Personal checks, or USPS money orders for total sales $1000 or higher. When the thread is over an invoice will be sent with PayPal address. I'll expect payment within 10 calendar days of invoice, or the book will be available for sale again (unless we've made other payment arrangements) Time payments are available for purchases of $2500 or more with 20% non-refundable deposit and installment payments so purchase is paid in full no later than 60 days. If monthly installments are more than 10 days late or payment is defaulted the 20% deposit will be retained by the seller but the rest of monies will be returned to the buyer and the sale will be nullified. Please note the shipping prices are slightly higher than they used to be. It is costing a little more these days. Canada: $15 for raw and $25 for graded in any quantity. Overseas- Shipping at cost. I only ship overseas to established board members with references. I now only ship one time a week so please be patient as it could take up to 10 days to ship your purchase. Returns/Refunds General Policy: I will accept returns on raw books within 30 days of your receipt of the books, as long as the books are returned to me as they were when you received them. There are NO RETURNS on CGC graded books. I always accept returns on raw books within 6 months if I missed restoration or the CGC grade is more than 1 grade off (for example I call a raw book a 5.0 and it comes back a 4.5 -no return. If it comes back a 4.0 you can return the book if you want for a full refund plus your shipping to me).

My house was damaged by a tornado here in Oklahoma on Memorial Day weekend...and my dog ran up a big bill during 3 days in intensive care at the vet due to an unrelated matter...but I have yet another reason to raise cash. All my children are grown, so I don't need baby diapers, but I am rapidly aging, and now is a great time to build a stockpile of Depends, if for nothing else than making cross-country drives without having to stop at restrooms. 1st “I'll Take It!” in the thread wins and trumps all private negotiations. It's the most wonderful time of the year! My annual Holiday Sales Thread will begin tonight at 7 PM CST. I'll be listing books over the next three weeks, hopefully ending on New Years Day. Invoices will be sent in early January. No payments are due until that time, and no shipping will occur until that time. Between the website and conventions, I have bought thousands of books this year. I've been setting stuff aside all year long for this sale. Frazetta covers, Raboy covers, Schomburg covers, LB Cole covers, GGA, Pre-code horror, Pre Hero Atlas, and cool Romance books that you just don't see. I can't imagine that you won't be able to find something you are looking for at a very good price. Typical board rules apply. is king! I welcome reasonable offers by PM, but not 30 seconds after the book has been posted. And no editing of I'll Take its. If you click it, its yours. Also, no trading. I can't keep up with that stuff. The Books Over 50 books, half from Ricksneatstuff and half from Markentoth, all posted by me. I will denote each book with an (R) for me and an (M) for Markentoth. These will be all kinds of gold and atomic, mostly CGC graded PCH, sci-fi and good girl books with a couple war too. Markentoth's books are mostly under copies or books that he feels do not fit in his collection anymore. That being said there are still plenty of Top 3 graded copies and 1 or 2 highest graded. As I like to do I will end this thread with a pretty nice grail book that has not been offered here on the forum before. I know this thread is a bit of an experiment but I thought it would be fun to give the boardies a shot at these instead of going straight to the auction house. This is not a consignment thread- you will be paying the owner of the books directly from the invoice that is sent and we will be shipping to you directly. If you buy something from both of us the shipping charge will be split between us in the invoice so you will still only pay the same shipping total. Here is a real nice solid fine copy of Fightin' Marines #7 with a great Matt Baker cover (is it grey tone? looks cool) and Canteen Kate story "The Foxhole Floozie". I wonder if floozie was banned when the comics code came around? Nice tight copy, OW pages. Census highest is a 6.0 and there are only 3 copies on the census. For sale to start Classic Comics 32 CGC graded 5.5 - $295 A very early Matt Baker Cover, with babe etc. All art inside is Baker. A difficult book to find in Fine or better due to the cheap paper used. This is a pretty sharp copy, grade took a hit due to staining along lower edge of back cover. Not much for GPA on this one. A raw 7.0 sold on heritage 2 and a half years ago for 380$...well before the current Baker Boom.
