General Rules No PL/HOS members The new board software does not display precise thread post times (either in PMs or in sales threads), which can result in the inability to determine whether a PM post or thread post came first. One thing remains certain - it is easy to tell whether one post in a thread came before another post in the same thread. So, the first "take it" posted in the sales thread wins. If we reach a deal via PM, I'll mark books SOLD in the thread as soon as reasonably possible - but if someone else takes the book in the thread before your PM take is acknowledged in the thread (by either you or I), the thread poster is the winner, I'm afraid; so, there is some risk of losing a book if you try to remain anonymous via PM. (Credit to EC Ed for these rules. I have adapted them with his permission) I kindly ask that you not Quote a book and then make a comment. It makes the book appear to be sold. Payment I'll take PayPal for total sales under $1000 if PayPal is your preferred method. Personal checks, or USPS money orders for total sales $1000 or higher. When the thread is over an invoice will be sent with PayPal address. I'll expect payment within 10 calendar days of invoice, or the book will be available for sale again (unless we've made other payment arrangements) Time payments are available for purchases of $2500 or more with20% non-refundable deposit and installment payments so purchase is paid in full no later than 90 days and up to 120 days can be available for $10,000 or more (please PM first). But First! The RULES!!! No HOSers, Probies or other malcontents. First in the thread trumps all DM, PM or other negotiated agreements. Payment is PayPal, Check or Money Order up to $1000, thereafter only Check or Money order (everything has to clear before book sent out) Shipping within the US will be included in the prices, as these are all slabs they will be sent USPS Priority box. Outside US we can discuss shipping. No returns, they are slabbed and are what they are. Breakage during shipment will be insured and I will cooperate fully with any claims that need be made (I pack well, so I don't anticipate any issues here). I have a series of 1950's books coming up tonight. They will only be here for a short time before I take them to another venue. These are lower grade copies that are duplicates in my collection. I've looked through each book and will note any major defect. Otherwise, I'll add hi-res scans for you to see the grade for yourself. My opinion on grade is a conservative estimate in my opinion. I will consider reasonable offers on all items BUT an unconditional in the thread or by PM trumps. Competing claims will be decided by time stamp. I will not sell to the probate or the banned. Payment is by Paypal goods and services. Shipping is 8.00 for up to 5 raw books. International shipping from the USA needs to be discussed and calculated prior to claiming. My house was damaged by a tornado here in Oklahoma on Memorial Day weekend...and my dog ran up a big bill during 3 days in intensive care at the vet due to an unrelated matter...but I have yet another reason to raise cash. All my children are grown, so I don't need baby diapers, but I am rapidly aging, and now is a great time to build a stockpile of Depends, if for nothing else than making cross-country drives without having to stop at restrooms. 1st “I'll Take It!” in the thread wins and trumps all private negotiations. I have about 50 books to list, maybe a few more. I'm going to do these alphabetically, so Wednesday night I'll end with Wonder Woman. Almost all of these are books I've had for some time, I'm just consolidating a little, paying for some windows, some purchases, but mostly consolidating and these are the books I kept. I should be able to list about 23 tonight. The rest will be Wednesday night at 8pm EST. I'm going to do shipping at my cost to be fair to those who are out of the Country or across the Country or near me. If you need a shipping quote, just ask. I use regional boxes whenever it's practical and I pay for private insurance and if you spend more than $200, I will pay for the signature that my insurance requires. I accept Paypal, Checks or Money Orders. Payment is due in 7 days unless we have made arrangements before you hit the Take it sign. First take it wins. In case of a tie, the one visible on the boards wins. Returns for any reason, but the book must be returned in the same manner it was shipped within 7 days of receipt.
