Just bought a SS yellow label, 9.8 CGC number verified already but case is cracked bottom right hand corner and comic is signed 4X. My question is, if I send this in to be recased will the grade and verified signatures still hold up and qualify for a yellow label SS?

**BOOKS HAVE BEEN MOVED ELSEWHERE - PM ME IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ANYTHING** I'm in the process of re-focusing my collection so it's time to trim the fat. I'll be listing about 150 or so CGC slabs here, mostly 9.8 and mostly signature series. I suppose I should start with the rules: 1 - No probation list or Hall of Shame members, please. 2 - I will accept PayPal only at this time. Payment is due within 48 hours unless an alternate timeline has been agreed upon. 3 - Shipping within the U.S. is included for all purchases of $50 or over, and I will try to ship within 48 hours of receiving payment. For purchases under $50 you will have to add $10 for shipping. I’d prefer to limit purchases to within the U.S. at this time but if you live outside the U.S. and really, really want to buy something, then PM me and we can discuss logistics and shipping costs. 4 - First unconditional in the thread or via PM wins and trumps any ongoing PM negotiations. If more than one is received, the one with the earliest timestamp wins. Having said that, prices are not set in stone so please feel free to PM me with offers on anything listed. I have a CGC Signature series Amazing Spiderman #101, graded 5.5, and signed by Stan Lee. Sadly, it has two small hairline cracks on the top & bottom corners of the case. Does the comic have to be reauthenticated to be put into a case? If so, how do I go about that?! Please & thank you!!

Hi new to the CGC Forum portion of the site. Had a question for collector’s of Signature series graded books relating to the census information provided by the company. I recently purchased a Amazing Spider-Man #122 comic (part of the “The Night Gwen Stacey Died” story line graded 8.0 signed by Jerry Conway, John Romita & Stan Lee. In looking at the census data, I couldn’t tell of the C.C. books graded how many were graded with one signature versus others that might have 2 or more signatures. When I contacted customer service, they confirm CGC currently distiguish on their census this information. As a collector and investor I think there would be value in knowing this as I think it would help distinguish one CGC graded book from another as being scarcer and more sought after than say if it were only signed by one Artist. The pop reports would provide a resource that could serve the collecting community even further if the information were made available to collectors of CGC books. Curious what every bodies thoughts are on this? If more people requested this, it would help make this into a reality possibly. Appreciate any comments and thoughts.

Is there a way to get your books signed and graded CGC SS if you are not attending a convention? I have seen people answer yes, but never explain how. Like, I live in San Diego, but I couldn't get tickets to comic-con (for example). Is there a way to get them signed with SS without actually attending the convention? And if so, how? Thanks!

Priority mail shipping for U.S. addresses is $13 for any number of books. Insurance up to $50 is included; additional insurance is optional. International rates are available upon request. PayPal, money orders and checks are welcome. If you pay by money order or check and I don't know you or somebody that can vouch for you, I'll wait about 7 days after the money order or check has been deposited to make sure it clears.
