Hello First time posting on here. I just wanted to make sure that if I sent in a already verified signature series comic to CGC for a private signing that my original signature. Isn't nullified? I know they will have to crack It open for an extra fee but they still will honor my original signature right? I know it's probably fine but my existential dread gets the better of me

Basically the title. I sent in some books to a signing (with out being pressed as I just didnt have the time before the deadline) and when I got them back there was one book in particular that got hit really hard. I don't typically care THAT much about the grades I get, as I mostly send books to be graded because I want them graded, or this case signed. But this book looked VERY good. Expecting in the 9.2-9.4 range. 7.5 is what it came back as. The notes only say "light finger bends to cover". It's ridiculous that that alone would make it drop as low as a 7.5, ESPECIALLY when I have a different book in the same lot that had the same notes and it came back a 9.0. So I just wanna know is it possible to send an already SS book into CCS to be pressed, then regarded by CGC, and still retain the yellow SS label? -
Out of curiosity, is there any facilitator or witness taking on submissions for Niagra Falls Comic Con this upcoming June? -
Hey guys, Wishing you all a Happy New Year ! Newbie question : I have sent a book for sigs series, pressing and grading to CGC/CCS and I was wondering what was the order process ? Does the comics are first signed then pressed ? If so, is there any risk to press a comic with ink on it ? However, if pressing happens before the sigs, I was afraid that CGC will not have time to proceed with them as CCS pressing turnaround time is currently 80 days and that the sigs I want will end mid-february... Anyway, thank you for your help guys !

Do I have to meet up with the cgc witness or physically be there. If mid town comics were having a signing and I live in the west coast is it possible for cgc witness to go in our place/witness the signing. Thank you -
CGC - I have a Hellboy “Grail”- I’ve had this for quite some time but as it goes around here I have my eye on something else so I am offering what I think is a one of kind piece- the book is actually a Fallen Son- Death of captain America book (for those who don’t know sketch variants when this was done were not as abundant as now) but that is not the important part- the art is Hellboy done by Marc Wolfe and done so well it might as well be a published comic and then the book is signed by three different people Mike Mignola Ron Perlman and Guillermo Del Toro in addition to Marc . I was not really sure how to price this and I would rather sell it here to someone who appreciates it rather then EBAY so let’s Say $800 NOW $700 shipped OBO rules- no probys- PayPal as Payment - no returns on CGC and shipping in the US included - will also ship to Canada but splitting the shipping. I love SS books. I have about 100. All of my books are listed in the CGC Registry. There is a small symbol in column #5 of the Registry which is presented when a book has one or more photograph/s, and a second symbol when a book has notes. Q. Is it possible that CGC could add a third symbol in column #5 (or elsewhere) to denote a Signature Series book?

I’m planing on dropping a book off for the signature series after getting it sketched on. Do I not have to pay for handling fees since I’m dropping it off with a representative at a con, or will I still have to pay?

I am looking to get several comics signed at an upcoming local convention. Fortunately, CGC and the convention both claim a CGC Witness will be present. I have seen many forum posts about how to get your SS slab but they all were for when there would be a CGC booth at the convention. My Questions: When I arrive at Con, what should I do to get my comics signed in the presence of a witness? What will happen next? Do I need to be a CGC member? (since there is no CGC Booth offering their on-site services) Thanks for any/all help! (I want to get Ultimate Spider-man #1,#3,#5,#100, Spec#1; Ultimate Fallout #1, #4;and ASM #361 all signed by Mark Bagley; and Michael Golden to sign Ultimate Spider-man Spec#1) => Not looking to resale, just for personal collection. Yes, I'm ready to drop some dough.
