untilI am planning to go to smaller comic events, if the promoters don't panic and cancel them. Emerald City Comic convention was cancelled, due to fear of virus spread. My thoughts about many larger Conventions were they have become Pop culture shows rather than Comic Cons. I had, even before all this panic, decided to set-up at more and more small comic focused shows. This March we will set up in the new location of San Fernando Valley Comic Book Convention at the Hyatt Regency, Valencia, CA. This event is planned for a Sunday 22nnd March from 10 AM – 4PM . We will be able to bring any item from our inventory as we have a warehouse close by. this is my show schedule for the near future, and they are all smaller shows. San Fernando Valley Comic Book Convention: 22nd March at the Valencia Hyatt Regency, Valencia, CA. Berkeley Comic Show: April 4th at the Berkeley Adult School, Berkeley, CA. I Wonder Con : April 7 -8th at the Comic Book Hideout, Fullerton, CA. Alternative to WonderCon! Philadelphia Comic Convention: Sunday April 19th at the Clarion Hotel Conference Center, in Essington, PA. Hey! I recently purchased an ASM 14 in fair condition that has the wrong back cover. Overall, it’s in pretty rough shape, with tape over the spine and the front cover. Would it be recommended to completely remove the current wrong back cover? If I do, should I replace it with one that matches the original? I was searching through eBay, and Sgt Fury 8 has the same back cover as ASM 14. I included some pictures below to give some context. Thanks, Joey

One thing remains certain - it is easy to tell whether one post in a thread came before another post in the same thread. So, the first "take it" posted in the sales thread wins. If we reach a deal via PM, I'll mark books SOLD in the thread as soon as reasonably possible - but if someone else takes the book in the thread before your PM take is acknowledged in the thread (by either you or I), the thread poster is the winner, I'm afraid; so, there is some risk of losing a book if you try to remain anonymous via PM. (Credit to EC Ed for these rules. I have adapted them with his permission) I kindly ask that you not Quote a book and then make a comment. It makes the book appear to be sold. Payment I'll take PayPal for total sales under $1000 if PayPal is your preferred method. Personal checks, or USPS money orders for total sales $1000 or higher. When the thread is over an invoice will be sent with PayPal address. I'll expect payment within 10 calendar days of invoice, or the book will be available for sale again (unless we've made other payment arrangements) Shipping Terms $15 for graded in any quantity. Happy Saint Patrick's Day:) Today I will be listing raw Detective comics from my collection. Most of these I've had for quite a while, I'm just downsizing a little and I've been collecting some other titles. I'm also doing some renovations so expect maybe 2 more sales after this one. There are over 50 books in this sale, so I'm going to split it. The first session will end around Noon (EST) and I'll continue tonight at about 7:30 pm. There are some scarce issues in this group. I sold a bunch of my Detectives last year, these are most of the ones I put aside to keep. I take Paypal, MO's or checks. Shipping in the US is $6.00 for a well packed Flat Rate envelope. I use at least one Gator board plus cardboard. Someone once told me you could drive a truck over the Gator boards, I have not tried that;) but they are strong. I can fit up to 2 books safely in a FR envelope, after that I'll use a box (no extra charge). If you want to start with a box, I charge exact shipping. If you are out of the US, I'll ship however you'd like, for the exact amount. Out of the US, please pm me before buying if you need a shipping price it's obviously a little more expensive, if you don't care about the shipping prices, then post take its, it's fine. I pay for private insurance so that is included. If the book is over $250, it must go signature required. That means if you are out of the US and it's over $250 it has to go priority or Fedex. I take returns for any reason, but you must let me know within 3 days of receipt and the book must be returned within 7 days shipped the way I sent it and packed it.. Buyer pays return shipping. First Take it wins, but I must see the take it if it's in a pm, if I have not acknowledged a take it in a pm, and someone posts one on the boards, then the board one wins (because it's sometimes hard to see the time in a PM). Payment is due within 3 days unless we have an agreement about time payments before you post a take it. All my comics come from a smoke free home. I am looking to re-bag my silver age collection in "Mylites". I love the protection these bags provide and love the way the books look in Mylar. The problem is my local comic shops only stock "standard size" and I need 200 silver age size. E. Gerbers' minimum order is $100. I was hoping someone else might be willing to sell 200? -
