A perhaps strange request, but please here me out. I bought this already slabbed a 9.6 about a year ago. I thought the centering was great (Comics Code box not cut off,) liked that it had white pages. Now I've looked this book over (through the slab anyway) and I cannot find any defects I typically see in a 9.6. I have other CGC graded books in 9.8 and 9.6 and can see a difference; this book looks like the 9.8's. There is actually a 9.8 CGC on eBay right now that appears to have small color breaking spine tics on the black portion of the cover. I put circles on these 2 pics of the 9.8 book. If I were to crack/resub and get a 9.8, this book's value essentially doubles from $100 to $200+, based on what I've seen. So I appeal to you, the experts. Am I crazy? Is there an explanation in the graders' notes?

Hello, I have two editions available. Number one: It is a Brazilian Edition of Action Comics 266. $8 Description: This Bi monthly issue of 1968 reprints the cover and the classic story from ac n°266. Also reprints other AC 266 story, one from AC 320, one from Adventure Comics 308 and another Superman's one that I was not able to identify the origin. Probably around ten times scarcer than the US version. Condition: This is definitely a low grade item. Besides the multiple hand writing, the cover and back cover are attached to the inner through tape, since the staples are not present. Plus the spine is with several large pieces missing. Cover presents wear on the paint, specially close to the right border where is also a couple of minimal tears. On the back cover the wear is stronger,very strong close to the spine. Minimal coloring in some internal pages. I estimate it at 1.8, a little higher (2.0) and a little lower (1.5) seems also decent guesses. Number two: The second is a single issue that comprises Amazing Spider-Man 59 to 61. $17. Description: It ts Brazilian "Almanaque do Homem Aranha 1972" which used to be the equivalent of US annual. Original artwork on the cover. Condition: The Edition is in quite good condition. There are some bend marks in the lower right corner and some very small creases around the spine. However, the thick, plasticized cover make it quite hard to see. First page has an small pen writing. I grade it quite conservatively at 6.0, but can easily be 6.5 or 7.0, with a visual appearance even superior. Shipping of any of these can be as low as $3 through an economic shipping (no tracking) or $8 with tracking. I ship it in five business days, starting to count from the day after the payment. Payment is through Pay-Pal (but if someone knows a better way, one with lower feeds, I am all hears) I accept returns, but the buyer shall then pay the shipping costs.

Hey all, New to the forums but I have been collecting comics for awhile now and decided to try my hand on some estate sales to hopefully find some gems at good prices. Today I was able to grab a lot of comics that including both the direct market & news stand versions of SW8. At first glance of my newsstand version I noticed a purple mark on Spider-Man’s head (I provided pictures below of both my copies). My first thought was someone must have nicked it with a marker because when I google search the newsstand edition and none of the copies seem to have it. However, I was able to find one other copy online that seems to have the purple mark on his head too (provided a picture of it below as well). Can anyone explain why some have that mark? Would love to know the reasons behind it. thanks in advance for the help! *also I apologize for putting this in silver age, my mistake*

I just found this book and I'm wondering if it's worth grading. From what I've seen it's not worth much unless it's a high grade. What do you guys think? The cover is way off center and I see two small faint yellow stains on the back. Thanks

I love comic books. Ever since I was a kid, the lure of the hand-drawn art, as well as the adventure to the local comic store alone, was the highlight of a long school week. As I got older, the comics I loved became art and soon I was collecting graded comics to keep forever in perfect (or close to perfect) condition. The one problem I found was always displaying them. No matter what the product it always seemed flimsy or not “clean” looking enough. I wanted something that could support my habit and also provide a minimal way to showcase them without bulky and expensive covers and matte frames. So, I began 3D printing, designing, and modeling. After months of trial, I finally had what I wanted. Simple to install bracket that minimally holds the graded comic without sacrificing that perfect cover art. BEHOLD! The Mountiee!
