I will be listing 12 slabbed comic books tonight. I accept Paypal, Checks or Money Orders. Payment is due in 7 days unless we have made arrangements before you hit the Take it sign. First take it wins. In case of a tie, the one visible on the boards wins. Shipping will be my cost to anywhere. I pay for private insurance, so that is included. Anything over $200 will need to go signature required. Returns for any reason, but the book must be returned in the same manner it was shipped within 7 days of receipt. Shipping costs are to be paid by the buyer. No list people please. Several of these I submitted, if I did, I have notes as to whether they were pressed and cleaned, so I'll note that in the ads. Prices are my guesses from GPA/eBay and any other place I think of looking. I love comic books. Ever since I was a kid, the lure of the hand-drawn art, as well as the adventure to the local comic store alone, was the highlight of a long school week. As I got older, the comics I loved became art and soon I was collecting graded comics to keep forever in perfect (or close to perfect) condition. The one problem I found was always displaying them. No matter what the product it always seemed flimsy or not “clean” looking enough. I wanted something that could support my habit and also provide a minimal way to showcase them without bulky and expensive covers and matte frames. So, I began 3D printing, designing, and modeling. After months of trial, I finally had what I wanted. Simple to install bracket that minimally holds the graded comic without sacrificing that perfect cover art. BEHOLD! The Mountiee! Mountiees are resin printed brackets that hold just the lip of the graded comic without hiding anything else from that beautiful case. The design also lets you slip your comic in and out at your leisure so your display can change as your mood does. Simply mount the bracket with the included screws and wall anchors and BOOM…its on the wall. We designed the bracket with collectors in mind meaning we used high-quality UV resin to make the bracket stable without worrying about weight or grip. I finally got to scanning more books from my collection, these will be more Superman books about 25, I will probably do 1/2 today and the rest tomorrow night.. I take Paypal, MO's or checks. Shipping in the US is $6.00 for a well packed Flat Rate envelope. use at least one Gator board plus cardboard. Someone once told me you could drive a truck over the Gator boards, I have not tried that;) but they are strong. I can fit up to 2 books safely in a FR envelope, after that I'll use a box (no extra charge). If you want to start with a box, I charge exact shipping. If you are out of the US, I'll ship however you'd like, for the exact amount. Out of the US, please pm me before buying if you need a shipping price. I pay for private insurance so that is included. If the book is over $250, it must go signature required. That means if you are out of the US and it's over $250 it has to go priority or Fedex. I take returns for any reason, but you must let me know within 3 days of receipt and the book must be returned within 7 days shipped the way I sent it and packed it.. Buyer pays return shipping. First Take it wins, but I must see the take it if it's in a pm, if I have not acknowledged a take it in a pm, and someone posts one on the boards, then the board one wins (because it's sometimes hard to see the time in a PM). It is important to note that this is only the third appearance of Superman on the cover of a comic and that there are just fourteen copies of this incredibly rare issue that have been certified unrestored by CGC. We almost never see the book on the marketplace let alone at auction - you can throw away the guide on this one! Out of Superman's first three cover appearances, Action #10 has the fewest unrestored copies certified by CGC with a mere fifteen issues. With over forty unrestored copies of the mega key Action #1 and twenty-seven issues of Action #7, it's no surprise that Action #10 surfaces far less often.This issue is special in terms of it's significance as well as it's scarcity, and has a great pre-World War II cover with Superman destroying an enemy plane with one mighty punch! I'm planning some home renovations this Winter/Spring, so I'm going to have a series of sales. The next few will b raw 10-ct Dcs, from the 50's and 60's. I might toss in a few exceptions, but not many. This group will be 10- cent Action Comics. I will post 12 books this morning and about the same tonight at 8pm est. Combine shipping with the Adventures I had listed last week:) U.S. Shipping is whatever a regional box A costs (usually about $7.50 for the east coast and $9.80 for the West coast. I can fit at least 10 books in one of those safely. Tracking is included. If you buy more than I think can fit in a regional box A, I'll cover the difference for a larger box. If you prefer, I can use a priority flat rate envelope. I can safely send up to 4 books that way, I use very strong boards. I think boxes are even safer, but it's up to you. I send anything over $200 signature required. I pay for private insurance, so that is covered by me. I will ship anywhere at cost (no handling fees) (so Canada to the South Pole, etc, is fine;) Paypal and checks/MO's are accepted. Time payments are possible (but ask me first before posting a Take It) General rule is 20% down (non refundable) due within 3 days. Hi all, For the last few weeks I have had a thread up offering mostly Classics and related material, from a 16-box estate collection that was maybe 85% Classic Comics/Classics Illustrated. Rather than run one long, confusing (to me!) thread for everything. I am willing to share from that collection, I am trying to share in focused threads, for those who might not be interested in everything coming to the board from this sizable collection. So here is round two, about half a short box of various Silver age Superman titles. But first, First in thread wins Payment: Checks or money orders (I don't have PayPal) Shipping: USPS Priority $7 for as many can fit in a legal size priority envelope, inside a flip n ship mailer. Single books can ship first class at $5. If we're over the legal envelope capacity, books move to a Regional box or medium Priority box (est. $10-$13.65).
