I'm broadening my market to sell here at CGC's Chat Boards, MySlabs and HipComic, beyond just eBay where I started. Many, maybe even most, of my slabs for sale are at break-even prices. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Links: Slabs: https://www.ebay.com/str/Caravan-Comics-and-More?_bkw=cgc and https://www.hipcomic.com/store/caravan-comics-and-more?show=store&keywords=CGC and https://myslabs.to/woznia17 All items: https://www.ebay.com/str/Caravan-Comics-and-More and https://www.hipcomic.com/store/caravan-comics-and-more I am gradually adding my items to MySlabs, too. As I do so and as time allows, I will endeavor to do the math to try to lower prices accordingly to save you money. The link is https://myslabs.com/slab/my/my-slabs/for-sale/#. To claim on CGC for a CGC price: 1st private message via CGC (PM) by time stamp wins. I will PM or PayPal invoice you the total (Item + Shipping + Insurance + Signature Confirmation). To pay: PayPal only, to be arranged by PM. Payment must be received before items ship. Turnaround: Two business days, unless I'm traveling away from my stock. Then, two business days upon my return. Once an item is shipped, I will share the tracking number by PM. I want your items to arrive nicely and if for some reason they don't, I want you to get your money back without my having lost it, too, because of some Act of God for which I couldn't mitigate the unforeseen risk. Problems: Should any problems arise, I will troubleshoot those with you. Please keep it to PMs as I will do all in my power and according to these rules as I can to resolve issues. USPS Shipping, Insurance and Signature Confirmation* is additional: Total shipping cost will depend on the number purchased and value of the items. 1-2 CGCs = $15 shipping + insurance + $3.20 3-4 CGCs = $25 shipping + insurance + $3.20 5-6 CGCs = $35 shipping + insurance + $3.20 And so on. Amount for Merchandise Insurance Coverage Desired** Fee1 $0.01 - $50.00 $2.45 Free with Priority Mail Flat Rate 50.01 - 100.00 3.15 100.01 - 200.00 3.85 200.01 - 300.00 5.05 300.01 - 400.00 6.40 400.01 - 500.00 7.65 500.01 - 600.00 10.35 600.01 - 5,000.00 (maximum liability is $5,000) $9.70 plus $1.45 per $100.00 or fraction thereof over $600 in declared value Additional Insurance Services Fee Insurance Restricted Delivery2 $5.85 Bulk Insurance discount $0.80 per piece. For articles insured for more than $500. Feedback: I appreciate, if at all possible, that once a transaction and delivery is successful, you let me know by PM and/or give me a thumbs up or other good nod somewhere in this thread. I'll start a second post here to summarize sales and successes. It helps me with credibility on the Chat Boards and helps you reflect that you're a paying customer. *Stolen packages: I use Signature Confirmation as a deterrent against stolen packages. It is not my responsibility, once USPS Tracking shows "Delivered," if your package was stolen - the mail carrier should be having someone at your address sign for it. The only thing I can do from where I sit is provide Signature Confirmation and hope you'll be the one to sign for it. It is incumbent upon you to watch for when your package will arrive, and I strongly encourage you to sign up for Delivery Tracking alerts by SMS and/or email via USPS.com. I've had packages delivered to me stolen, too, and I've had packages I've sold stolen, too. This is my remedy. **Final insurance rates are those at https://pe.usps.com/text/dmm300/Notice123.htm#_c191 at time of payment (not sale). USPS insurance rates are subject to change. No returns nor refunds. Ask for photos if you're not sure about/want to see more detail on an item.

It's a bird. It's a plane! It's Superman: From the 30s to the 70s. The book that started an obsession, and ended up becoming my mission. I'm sure my father bought it for me, but I have no idea why I obsessed over the thing. The art was mostly crude. The stories were universally terrible. (If he had given me the Batman: From the 30s to the 70s book I probably would have gotten into Batman.) But something about the history of the thing, those early covers with their bold colors and dynamic layouts pulled me in. I never read the stories, but would go back to that dusty hardcover again and again and flip through it, stopping at each double page spread of covers, from the early issues up through the 1970s Neal Adams ones. My kid brother at some point got a hold of the thing and destroyed the cover, then went to work on the pages with a magic marker. I kept it anyway. When @Point Five pushed me to buy an old, crappy copy of Action Comics 59 at a New York comic con 15 years ago, I should have known better. The cover was detached. It had color touch. I later found out that the cover was married. It didn't matter. In what was to become a decade-plus journey to complete a run of golden age Action Comics, all CGC'd. At first there was no plan. It just kind of happened one day, a few years into collecting them, when I realized I had a dozen. Then 2 dozen. Then 3.... My journey ended about a month ago, when I finally received the last book I needed to complete Action Comics 15-63, Action 23, courtesy of @Cosmic Boy. Getting that book back from CGC was a saga unto itself. But it will have to wait. I spent nearly 5,500 days building this collection. I'm gonna take 49 days to post them here. One book a day; each book a story.

Hello Everyone, To start off I'm not sure what forum to post this in. I currently have a Superman and Bizarro #71 (newsstand) that at first glance it looks like someone colored on it with a black marker. But I got to looking at it and I'm not sure it that's still the same case or not. When I zoomed in on it with my phone camera I noticed that there wasn't any marker/color pencil stroke lines. And at a angle I wasn't able to see any indents on the page. What could have done it? Is it the printer error or did someone actually color it black? Either way what would the ballpark grade be?

Hi, Not knowing how to preserve this card or the value it may hold I thought I would just ask for any and all helpful thoughts. It is very tall and as such I don't think they make anything but a top loader to fit it, and I know error cards have value but any ideas where I could find out how to gauge it? Thanks

death of superman Superman: Funeral for a Friend
Brandon Shepherd posted a journal entry in My Death and Return of Superman Collecting Journey
I've been building the perfect beast that is my CGC Death and Return of Superman set, going on 12 years now. My set is an assemblage of subsets, including the "Doomsday!" and "Reign of the Supermen!" chapters, along with all the multiple printings of the various issues, Platinum Editions (Superman #75, Adventures of Superman #500), and Collector's Editions. Another subset, or beast, is the "Funeral for a Fried" chapter, a collection of nine books that tell the story of a world without a Superman. I consider this to be the best chapter of the saga, with those closest to Superman mourning with the citizens of Metropolis, other characters in the DC Universe, President Clinton and the rest of the world. With the exception of Superman: The Man of Steel #21, each cover is fantastic. Outlined with a black boarder, these books are a challenge to find in 9.8 grade. I scored Superman: The Man of Steel #20 recently, now I'm only three issues away from having all the first prints in 9.8 holders. Requiescat in pace, Superman.- 19 comments

Hello folks - I'm looking for a very specific Captain America and/or Superman commission from Nick Derington pictured below. If anyone has them and is interested in selling or has any leads on where they might be please feel free to drop me a DM or reply to this thread. I'm willing to also look at any other commissions by him (especially Iron Man), but the ones in this post are my preference. Thanks!

Hello everyone! I got this Action Comics for $900 bucks about 2 years ago now for my 21st birthday! I bought it as a 6.0 with a spine roll but then got it pressed and it came back 6.5. Should I crack it and have the name removed and if so would that make it come back a 7.0? A 2.0 sold for $698. Soo should I considering I am not losing any money if you think about it with the amounts the low grades sell for. Or don't mess with it. The name is starting to eat away at me.

I'll have up to a dozen posters, prints, sketches, and other similar items. Rules: PayPal only. Payment due within 2 days. No Returns. I'd be happy to send more pictures or descriptions upon request. First unedited take it in thread wins and takes priority over PMs in progress. US bidders only. Nobody on any type of list. Shipping is at cost. I will get your mailing address, package the items, and send you a final amount to be paid based on weight. Items are noted as shipping rolled or shipping flat. I do not charge you for supplies - just the shipping cost by USPS via PayPal. I will ship to the address in PayPal. I'm finding these items a little difficult to price. Offers are always welcome! Hey all I'm trying to learn more about the history of this goldenage Superman Comic. From what I've gathered, it's from the 1940s, Swedish, & done by Nordpress. The problem I'm having is the Volume # of said series and trying to find out what exact year this book was published. I plan on getting it graded, and there's a small cutout on one of the pages, which is a shame for such an old book. Regardless, getting it Slabbed so it's protected. Thanks for your time & help!
