Since it's Independence Weekend in the colonies (family legend says I have distant relatives who were Tories), I figured its time to move some of my mid-grade (and lower) copies of my Iron Man run and other stuff that's sitting around. Many of these were seen in my recent Mixed Ages thread but I'll have a handful of other comics as well. No major keys; mostly run fillers. So off to the rules: 1. The first person (by time stamp) to post "take it" in the thread, gets it. Happy to accept offers as well. 2. I'll accept Paypal (G&S). Other payment options will need to be discussed ahead of time. 3. Shipping:$6 for first 1 to 2 books. $9 for the 3-6 books (US priority). $15 for 7-20 books (US priority). This Collection has a lot of awesome books but over 60% of the books have the "Original Owners Name" inside on the splash page and a single hole punch on the Comics Code Authority box.... The Original Owner's name was Dave Read.... so I am calling this collection the "DRead" collection.... This was a very intresting collection primarily of Silver Age Marvels... with a handful of DC's. I have spoken to a bunch of my mentors on how to grade books with a single hole punch discretely placed on the cover only.... and the guidance I have been given is grade the book with out the hole punch and deduct 1.0 grade from there... and that how I have everything graded. Any guesses as to a grade? The cover looks pretty good but it is completely detached from the comic. And the front cover is also detached from the back cover. I've read that comics in Good (2.0) can have detached covers but this is pretty extreme. Is it Fair? Poor? Are there any professional repairs that can be made - that are worth doing for this book? Thank you in advance.

Any rate, I have a bunch of pretty key books here from ASM, The Avengers, FF, THe Hulk, Strange Tales, TOS and more to come. If you need any references just LMK. I have been doing the buy/sell/trade online since around 1998 on another website with the same user name (check out MOTL in your search engine) and have a few hundred references there though the site kind of died out w/ FB groups now. Aside from that I kind of own/operate a business too. Paypal or Money order, for larger deals money order preferred. Note, I'm by no means a comic grader, I did however have two sets of eyes look at these subjectively and they arrived at around the same opinion on conditions. The winner is decided by an (or similar... "take" is fine if you're trying to be fast) based on time stamp, regardless of how I get the message (i.e. either PM or reply to this post). If you're in the process of making an offer/ we're negotiating, others can still beat you with an unconditional "I'll take it," even if your initial message was first - up until the point where you tell me you'll take it at the agreed-upon price. The main book here is CGC graded, and the rest are cheap enough/beat enough that it shouldn't be an issue.
