I need help selling my comic books, where can i do this ? can any one please give me any advice pertaining to this question? i have many signed STANLEE and other great cgc signature series comics encapsulated with some rating up to 9.9 or higher. -
I just returned from Phoenix Arizona where I purchased a great Marvel Silver Age collection from the original owner. It is approximately 400 books and I am selling the bulk of them individually on eBay. Some of them are very high grade (Such as the X-Men #40 below which I am sending off to the CGC soon) Titles include Sgt. Fury, Thor, JIM, TOS, ASM, FF, Avengers, Iron Man just to name a few. You can tell these are all from the same owner and store as 80% of them have an identical store date stamp on the back cover - usually in the same place. (All purchased at his local pharmacy in Canada I was told) These are all uncleaned and unpressed and in the same raw condition they were purchased in. I'm posting scans of some of the nicer books below, some of which I will be auctioning later after they are graded - some of which are being sold now. Hi all, Ok, it's time....I will post one book tonight to get this thread rolling, but I plan a thread of Gold and early Silver, between 60-70 books, over the next few nights. I will group them by genre, with round 1 being pre-code romance/GGA. (This will be about 1/3 of the thread). The romance books are mostly pretty sharp and fairly esoteric; it's hard to find many comps so I'm using multiple sources and taking the OSPG with a grain of salt. One book tonight, more beginning around 10 pm EST tomorrow. I will try to do a heads-up post shortly before beginning each round, and I will edit the headline with each new round. The back 2/3 of the thread should have a little something for everyone; Archies, heroes, horror, humor, war, Atlas/Marvel pre-hero, Tom Corbett, etc. Payment is money order or check -- I do not have Paypal. Shipping -- $5 up to first three books U.S., actual thereafter. Canada is actual shipping. Hi. I am putting some books from my collection up for sale. I have sold books in the Gold/Silver section, but this is my first sale in the Copper/Modern section. Not sure if there is any interest in these, but will give it a go. First gets the book over PMs. I will accept PayPal, MO or personal checks (must clear). I ship everything USPS, and can mail up to three books in a Flat Rate Priority Envelope for $7.00 and anything over that will be mailed in a Priority box for $13.00. My shipping is fast and rock solid. All books are unrestored. Back covers are all clean and fresh with no writing or date stamps. Pages are ow/w or better. II think my grading is accurate, but if you are not satisfied you can return the book for a full refund, minus the shipping, within seven days of receiving the book. Hulk 1 came out in April, 1962. JIM 83 came out in August of that same year. Hulk #1 has about 1100 unrestored copies in the CGC census, JIM #83 has about 1240 unrestored copies in the CGC census. It's pretty standard to say that AF15, Hulk1, and FF1 are the 3 key marvel silver age books that are the toughest to find, and most significant, as well as valuable (btw AF15 came out same time as JIM83). Hulk 1 is certainly pricier than JIM 83. My question is, with census numbers so close, and Thor being perhaps a more interesting leading man in the marvel films, do you think that JIM83 may one day surpass HULK1 in terms of importance to collectors, and/or value in grade? the disparity seems greater than it ought to be. I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on this.

I will only ship to the CONUS, and the cost will be $11 for up to 2 slabs. Depending on my work schedule, shipping could happen within 1 day of payment clearing, or it may take up to 3 business days. I do my best to get it out quickly, but sometimes daily events get the best of me. Please be aware - I do not accept returns on CGC books. Hi everyone, Due to crazy happening I've finally decided that I shall have to liquidate my complete original owner (90% bought off the newstand) collection and I am debating what books are worth sending to CGC, please let me know your thoughts guys, Ive been out of the game for a decade or so, so all feedback is greatly appreciated. I'll be putting up a selection of books that I feel may justify being sent, if I've got it wrong please let me know, I can't afford to mess this decision up!!! All grade advice and guidance is invaluable to me. Also In doing my research today I have discovered something called pressing (wasn't around in my collecting heyday) so if any books look like they may benefit from this please let me know. thanks in advance guys Rye. In this age of pressing I do my best to avoid the trap of ignoring pressable defects as if not there (like grading from scans alone). Ship slabs $12 unlimited. Ship raw - box Priority $7 for one book, $10 for two or more. I’ve added a cheap alternative: gemini mailer $4 for 1-10 books (up to 1 lb., or ~4 regular-sized, travels first class, 5-10 travel at book rate/media mail) In town no charge for local pickup, I own Tip Top Café and a few Las Palapas we can meet up at Ship Canada at Cost, email address and I'll try to figure what it costs up to 1 lb (4 standard-sized issues at most). I use same name at ebay "grebal" - Gregory Balitsos Link OTHER: For over a decade I’ve been a ‘box-only’ guy, but these mailers are pretty good (see pic) for up to around 10 regular-sized books. Title gives you an idea of what is coming up for sale.. Here are terms: People on the probation list, or that I may have on ignore, are not eligible to purchase. Raw books: All my raw books are unrestored and not pressed unless noted. All my raw books are accurately graded and your satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back (except shipping costs) as long as book is returned in same condition as sent within 7 days of receipt. The first in this thread or via PM wins the book based on time stamp. Time payments are possible but must be discussed before you make the purchase. Shipping cost depends of how many books you take, where you live and how you want this to be shipped: 1) 1-3 CGC books with $100 insurance and tracking number to the USA with strong packaging is estimated around $25.00. 2) 1-10 raw books (regular size) with $100 insurance and tracking number to the USA with strong packaging is estimated around $25.00 3) If you want cheaper shipping cost, I can ship 1-3 raw books to the USA in an envelop with Mylar and sandwiched between thick cardboards for $10.00 ($5.00 to Canada). However, there is no insurance nor tracking number and I cannot use a box with this option. If the package gets lost or damaged, there is nothing we can do and I do not recommend this option for more expensive books. 95% of the time there is no problem, but there is a 5% that sometimes get damaged because the postal man is too dumb or other reasons. This option is therefore at your own risk. I do accept PayPal or international money orders. -
