Here are my comics for sale, my store I don't mind being sent offers for lower than listed price, but I believe my prices are fair based on eBay sale history. The Thor 5 came back lower than expected but pressing will solve that problem. There is a couple creases on the back cover on one on the front, closer pictures can be provided. -
Hi everyone, Usually, whether buying or selling, I'm over in Gold/Silver/Bronze playing with raw books. But I bought a collection today that had chunk of slabs in it, and an interesting mix at that. I'll share some here, and there's probably some for G/S/B down the road as well. (Lots of raw that is mostly for that section as well.) Happy to answer any questions I can; the seller told me the books belonged to a friend of his who passed away and the widow wanted them gone so he was selling them for her. He must have just slabbed by eye as there's no other rhyme or reason to what he picked to slab, but there's a few big misses (his early efforts I guess) then many 9.6 and 9.8 copper modern, and many 9.6 and 9.4 bronze. I have no idea if he had any of these pressed, but the raw collection indicates much more of a reader than investor mindset. Looks like slabbing pretty books was a recent passion of his. I'll get a few up to start as its late tonight, but there will be more. There's Universals and sig series, and a few Qualifieds that are all signed books that I guess were not CGC witnessed. Many of them have various COA's enclosed in their slab bag. Some of the raw stuff is signed too; clearly an autograph guy as well. Here's a preview; Rules in next post, then we're off!

Original TMNT Series – Almost Full Run Plus Extras I’m selling my personal collection of original TMNT comics in favor of the hardcover collections. I purchased these over the years, mostly from digging them out of boxes at cons. I'm selling almost a full run plus lots of extras. Conditions vary, but comics are generally and F/VF shape. If you would like more information or better pictures about any individual issues, please let me know and I’d be happy to post that information here. Asking $300 for the lot + shipping (see below). If you’re in AZ, pickup is an option. For sale as a lot only. Reasonable offers considered. Shipping: United States only, shipping is at cost, estimated at $50 from AZ to VA, for example. Currently the comics are mostly individually bagged and boarded in a short box. If you’d like to estimate shipping, it’s 14 lbs in a short box measuring 8” x 11” x 16” and shipping from AZ. I would be happy to work with you on getting the shipping at a reasonable price while keeping the comics safe. I would likely double bag and board them, and bunch them together in larger bags (possibly magazine bags) to minimize shifting, then wrap the bunches in bubble wrap. Given that all our normal activities are getting cancelled, I have a little free time to list some books for sale. Some of these are from my personal collection and others are from me going through some bulk purchases. Feel free to message me with any questions. Most books are two books per bag/board. This helps with the shipping and storage. A few of the lots are in bags only, but I can transfer these to two per bad/board if requested. I don't expect anyone to do my legwork for me, but I am curious to know if anyone has a rough idea of how much I could potentially sell my collection of TMNT comics. They are all in very good condition, and some are even signed by Eastman and Laird. I have looked on eBay and other sites that provide grading, but the values seem to vary quite a bit and I don't know what to trust as a realistic asking price. I would sell them in bulk to save time, and I don't know if that typically yields a lower total profit versus selling them individually. Any help is appreciated!! Been a while since I've done this, and my boxes just keep multiplying... Hoping to move some TMNT dupes to clean out a small box or 2... All of the IDW books came from DCBS, read once (or not at all) by me, and tossed into Bag/Board. I can't imagine anything is lower than 9.2, there are surely some 9.8's, but I think the vast majority are 9.4/9.6. The early Mirage stuff is an amalgamation of things from different times and places. I think I can conservatively put the average around F/VF. Most of the other vol. 4 era Mirage stuff came from my LCS... most should be around 9.0... I'm intending to sell these as reading copies, but if anyone wants scans or more info on anything in particular, please lmk, and I'll be happy to get it. Shipping from 28216 (NC)... Prefer to use either the standard Priority boxes or Media Mail for in the US. Happy to ship anywhere as long as you tell me how to get it there. Shipping will be exact cost to wherever... Dumb question. Whats the difference between volume 1 : change is constant and volume 1: shell unleashed? Are they to dofferent series or is it one one collects 6 issues and the other collects 12? Thanks

So I finally dug into my lone long box that I've been lugging around from move-to-move for 30+ years and found a first-six issue run of TMNT. The good news: waves of nostalgia! Bought the first three at a neighborhood CBS in Milwaukee in '85. It was these issues, and a the first few issues of Elementals, bought during the same trip, that ignited my love of comics. And the (very) bad: Well, check out these pics! A double-whammy of reading the hell out of them when I was 12, and naively storing them in a regular-sized long box, hence the cracks and rolls. Currently kicking my 12-year old self. I know low-grade TMNT are still occasionally coveted, but how low-grade is this? Would it be worthwhile to get pressed and slabbed, or should I just re-bag and board it and be satisfied with the nostalgia it triggers?

Issue 3, Page 18 1985 Roughly 8.5 X 12 Duotone Art Board All Eastman & Laird art ON HOLD! : With all art from issues #1 & 2 locked away, this is one of the earliest pages you'll likely come across. And features the Turtles riding around in an early version of the Party Wagon! Piece originally came from Kevin Eastman's personal collection and comes with his "Time Capsule." and sticker on back. Issue 11, Page 25 1987 Roughly 8.5 X 12 Duotone Art Board All Eastman & Laird art $4250: This splashy page features Raphael in all 8 panels standing guard on the rooftop. The Turtles had just had a terrifying run-in with the Shredder and the Foot Clan and Raphael was not taking any chances being caught unawares. Simply a stunning page! From the acclaimed "Return to New York" storyline issues 19-21. Layouts Eastman Pencils Lawson, Inks Laird in duo tone art board. Signed by Eastman Issue 19, Page 18 $2900 Turtles + Foot Soldiers + Sewers = TMNT Gold! You might be able to find 1 or 2 of these elements in a single early page, but rarely all 3 or at this price. The details are wonderful. Laird famously said of this issue that it was "brick hell." Jim drew so many panels with hundreds of bricks in them and I felt obliged to ink them all in. That was a LOT of bricks." Simply a wonderful and highly detailed page. One of the earliest Shredder paintings. Roughly 8X11 on art board. Pencils/Inks/Paints Kevin Eastman 1985. Later at a local con in Worcester, MA both Eastman and Laird signed the piece. $3500 Printed in black and white in early ad and possible some other comic mags, this piece was ultimately used as style guide for the Shredder Dark Horse lead gaming figures (the first Turtles "toys" before the late 80s cartoons/toy boom) IDW #59 Eastman Variant Covered (2nd image shows what the book looks like, I don't think I actually have the book but if I do, I'll throw it in) $800 Time Capsule (all the material in 3rd pic) is included as well. I have some more material up on My EBAY Store that I'll update this thread with later so feel free to poke around and let me know if something catches your eye. Turtle Power!
