Monday, I thought about bidding in scroogenightmare's eBay auction for a copy of Men's Adventures #14 but am definitely not going to after checking completed listings. At the time, there were three copies recently sold; I clicked on the only raw one, which went for $38, only to realize that it was the exact same copy! These are the pictures from that completed listing: The above book's condition was described by its seller, jhatch223, as follows: This is scroogenightmare's description of the book he is selling: Here are the pictures from his lisitng: It ap

eBay link below. Bidding ends in 24.5 hours. Currently both of my listings are very low bids considering I don't use eBay that much but I figured I would try it out and see how it goes. NO BUYER'S PREMIUMS — What you bid is what you pay! The Joel Shuster illustration on this cover is a classic of simplicity and dynamism and has eye appeal above its grade. It is important to note that this is only the third appearance of Superman on the cover of a comic and that there are just fourteen copies of this incredibly rare issue that have been certified unrestored by CGC. We almost never see the book on the marketplace let alone at auction - you can throw away the guide on this one! Also of note, this is only the third time that we have offered an unrestored example of this high

So I've been seeing some good comics for auction online at www.EBTH.com (Everything But The House) and decided to try the waters with some better bronze age books. Here's what you need to know" 1. They don't appraise anything and use a generic description for all unslabbed comics including the default phrase "various degrees of wear, fading and discoloration present on the spines and covers of the comics;". I didn't realized this was put there by default when I submitted 5 flawless NM comics. Specifically, "Peter Parker Spectacular Spider-Man" #1-4 (1976-77) and "Web of Spider-Man" #
