Hey everyone, I'm selling the original cover variant cover artwork to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #142. This cover art was for an exclusive variant cover edition available only at the Fanboy Expo Orlando in September 2023. The cover was pencilled by Noah Sult and inked by me, Jason Moore. This cover was inked traditionally over a "redline" printout of Noah's pencils. I've attached a scan of the original artwork so you can see the "redline" behind the inking, the pencils so you can see how the piece was pencilled (Pencil artowrk is not included in this sale) and a color version of the final artwork for reference. It measures the standard 11x17 on Strathmore Bristol Board. I'm asking $2,000 but might consider full trade for interesting 70's / 80's independent comics original art or even partial payment/trade. I recently had the privilege of visiting Mike Sass up at his studio to pick up this recreation of his original cover art for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Mike was BioWare's head of promotional art for about a decade and worked on all of BioWare's games from the mid 1990s until the mid 2000s. His video game artwork was originally digital in nature, but he is also a very talented traditional painter. To render this large piece was a lot of work, but the final result is fabulous and he even managed to capture all the cool effects of the digital version. I'm thrilled to have this unique piece of game art in my collection!
