Marvel's event “Heroes Reborn” is coming soon this spring. This Marvel version of Justice League called “Squadron Supreme” team are pastiches Justice League members like Hyperion, Nighthawk and Power Princess are analogs for Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. Now DC is doing with the whole future Future State/Infinite Frontier a reboot. Whole like dc do the same thing their take on Heroes Reborn not as an event or paste copy but just a miniseries and one-shots from Retaliators from Earth 8. If you don't remember them they sure was homage/analogue to Marvel Avengers. They only had nearly 10 app

Hey everybody, I’m looking for Steve Rude interior art. My focus is Marvel (mainly Captain America: What Price Glory? And Thor: Godstorm) and DC (mainly Incredible Hulk vs. Superman, World’s Finest, Legends of the DC Universe #14, Man of Steel #2). I’d prefer the pages have our main hero in costume. With that said I’ll take a look at any of the dude’s art you have, marker commissions, painted commissions, prelims etc. but the above is my preference. I believe I’ve seen all of what’s currently available through the usual sites. If you’re interested, please feel free to respond to the threa

So I am new to all of this. I recently started collecting/reading comics. I recently purchased a copy of Batman 100 with a blank cover (because I thought I might get someone to draw something original on it). When I first opened it, I realized the pages were upside down and backwards. To read the comic you would have to start from the back and turned upside down. The attached picture is the inside front cover and the first page, as you would normally open a book. I am wondering if this has any additional value versus just any other copy printed the correct way. I have looked for other informa

Competition between DC and Marvel has been long-standing since the companies existed parallel to one another. The unhealthy side of the MCU vs DCEU debate took it to a new level as the internet and social media empowered easier access to outlets that could reach a larger audience for such topics, and to any level of extreme thinking. But how one-sided can it be? Is it just the fans taking shots at one another to make it clear only their company can be on top? An example of how such fixations can bleed into reviewer opinions is this Vulture piece when the writer was part of the report

None of us have the resources to collect everything we want; all of us are forced to make choices. It’s a big world out there, and every genre we collect is at the cost of another. is there a book in your collection that, to you, is so representative of a genre that you can look yourself in the mirror and say “I’m done”? Is there a book in your collection that is so representative of a genre that you feel free to move on? I was big into WWII war covers, but realized very quickly I couldn’t get em all. So I’ve settled on my favorite cover and released the rest. Then, @Ricksneat
