This is a thread dedicated to Al Feldstein’s great work. I really love his style because it bridged the gap between Baker realism and DeCarlo cartoon stylings. His Sci-Fi and romance/ GGA works are phenomenal IMO. I wish I had the chance to meet him like many of you did. Here’s to Al Feldstein

The Books Over 50 books, half from Ricksneatstuff and half from Markentoth, all posted by me. I will denote each book with an (R) for me and an (M) for Markentoth. These will be all kinds of gold and atomic, mostly CGC graded PCH, sci-fi and good girl books with a couple war too. Markentoth's books are mostly under copies or books that he feels do not fit in his collection anymore. That being said there are still plenty of Top 3 graded copies and 1 or 2 highest graded. As I like to do I will end this thread with a pretty nice grail book that has not been offered here on the forum before. I know this thread is a bit of an experiment but I thought it would be fun to give the boardies a shot at these instead of going straight to the auction house. This is not a consignment thread- you will be paying the owner of the books directly from the invoice that is sent and we will be shipping to you directly. If you buy something from both of us the shipping charge will be split between us in the invoice so you will still only pay the same shipping total. General Rules No PL/HOS members The new board software does not display precise thread post times (either in PMs or in sales threads), which can result in the inability to determine whether a PM post or thread post came first. One thing remains certain - it is easy to tell whether one post in a thread came before another post in the same thread. So, the first "take it" posted in the sales thread wins. Payment I'll take PayPal for total sales under $1000 if PayPal is your preferred method. Personal checks, or USPS money orders for total sales $1000 or higher. When the thread is over an invoice will be sent with PayPal address. This thread will run a full week until December 2nd and then invoices will be sent out on December 2nd or 3rd. I'll expect payment within 10 calendar days of invoice, or the book will be available for sale again (unless we've made other payment arrangements) Time payments are available for purchases of $2500 or more with 20% non-refundable deposit and installment payments so purchase is paid in full no later than 2/18/19. If monthly installments are more than 10 days late or payment is defaulted the 20% deposit will be retained by the seller but the rest of monies will be returned to the buyer and the sale will be nullified. Please PM to discuss time payment before taking the book in the thread. I reserve the right to not take time payments. Shipping Terms USA: $7 for raw and $15 for graded in any quantity Canada: $15 for raw and $25 for graded in any quantity. Overseas- Shipping at cost. I only ship overseas to established board members with references. I now only ship one time a week so please be patient as it could take up to 10 days to ship your purchase. Returns/Refunds General Policy: I will accept returns on raw books within two weeks of your receipt of the books, as long as the books are returned to me as they were when you received them. If there is undisclosed restoration on raw books I will take them back up to 6 months after the purchase. On raw book returns, you cover shipping cost back to me unless I missed restoration or a major defect. There are no returns on graded books.

The book offered is MODERN LOVE 8. This is the very hard to find last issue of this scarce series. Great artwork by Feldstein, Wood, and Kamen. This includes the classic story "The Love Story to End All Love Stories", which was EC's farewell to the genre, and both Feldstein and Bill Gaines(along with other spoofed industry pros) appear in this fun story. The book has a crease that goes over the gentlemen on the right. There are other non color breaking creases. There are two tears on the bottom front cover. A stain on the black cover. Red ink bleedthrough on the bottom front cover that is not color touch. Cover and centerfold are firmly attached. Store stamp on front cover. Book is around a GVG -.200.00
