I'm putting together a batch of comics and planning to have them pre-screened at 9.8. I'm wondering though that if a book is rejected, is it noted anywhere what it would've been graded at? For example, if a book would have been a 9.6 is that noted anywhere so I know when I get them back what it would've gotten and I can try to fix and resubmit? Hope this makes sense and thanks! -
Hey everyone just got back into collecting the kid in me is loving this mostly cards and some comics found out Futurama made a comic series and I got these #1 and #2 bongo Futurama comics was wondering what you think these would get for a grade. I don't know much about grading yet but i know there's a few blemishes and was wondering how much they would affect the grade. Any advice is appreciated thank you!

I'm new to magazine grading; could I get your guys opinion on this Mike Tyson first SI. It does not have any wrinkles, they are from the plastic sleeve. The spine is tight. I think it's in fantastic shape in comparing it the the very few high grade copies on eBay. I would any appreciate your feedback Thank you

I am wondering how CGC would evaluate a staple that was so badly misshapen due to a bindery issue at the printer that the wire actually created a small hole in the centerfold from the end of the staple that wouldn't have happened if the staple was correctly affixed to the book during the printing process. As I understand it bindery defects that occur because of issues with the comic book printer's production process are typically not counted or counted as harshly against a book by CGC as long as the book is sound otherwise, think the cover being wrapped incorrectly, square-bound spine dimples, double cover, and many other bindery issues that happened before the book is shipped to the distributor. The best that the book can be is when it arrives at the distributor and CGC typically grades books with bindery defects on a curve, taking into account said bindery defects before they start counting up any post-printing process defects that should've been mitigated by rabid collectors' strict adoption of correct collecting protocols designed to mitigate 100% of pesky grade affecting problems by just taking an insanely proactive approach to your comic collecting venture... Right? Who's coming with me? I'm not gonna do what everyone thinks I'm gonna do and freak out! For cereal how does CGC handle a problem that really isn't something that I can press out... I recently purchased this cgc 9.8 issue 1 outcast slab from an online comic shop that I’ve ordered from before and trust them. I’ve never had an issue until now. The cgc label is warped, the comic is wavy, the bottom left and top right corners are chipped, the sides of the slab can open a little bit but not enough to slide a comic out, the slab looks thicker than any cgc slab I’ve ever seen and the label on top looks weird, there’s debris inside the case as well. I took multiple photos in the hopes that someone can tell me if I’m crazy or not but I can only post 2. I’ve got 11 more pictures if needed.

Hello, I have a PSA graded card as 'Authentic Altered'. PSA doesn't assign number grading to genuine altered cards except for the grading of 'Authentic'. If I submit this to CGC can the card be number graded using the Green Label with the qualifier alteration listed on the label. The alteration is someone tried to fix the whiting on the back. -
If anyone can help, I have a CGC signature series Shang-Chi book already in a slab, but I really wanted to send it in to get it signed by Simu Liu. Since it will have to be taken out of the slab, will the original signature still be seen as verified? This might be a dumb question, but I don’t want to spend $230 just for the signature I already have on there to lose verification.

We have a 1986 Topps 161 Jerry Rice Rookie Card which (to my eyes) looks to be in mint condition. I've seen prices range widely on what it sells for so I do not know what submission type to submit it for. Is there a person we contact before sending the card to pick the right submission? (Scratches in picture are to the case, this card was put into this case immediately after purchase)

Why aren’t newsstand comic books (barcode on cover) not indicated as newsstand on the CGC grading label.

Just bought an ASM 300 cbcs 9.0 for a great price. The comic surprised me how nice it was. It looks really good, and hasn’t been pressed. The main flaw is the chipped lower left corner (pictured). Do you guys think this 9.0 grade is justified? I was thinking of cracking it, getting it cleaned and pressed and submitted to cgc. I own an Asm 300 in cgc 9.4, and this 9.0 one looks way better IMO. Should I bother with clean, press, regrade with cgc, or just leave it? Does damage like this get penalized harshly? I was hoping a cgc licensed grader could chime in here. Does this damage smash the hope of this book grading better?

Hi, I want to know if these card can be graded now. Magic the gathering Epsilon series palytest card ・Faerie dragon Gamma series palytest card ・Swamp ・Animate Dead ・Fire Breathing I heard that Gamma series playtest cards are able to authenticate now,but I want to know if you can do same for Epsilon series. I also have a certificate of authenticity from seller(He was testplayer and original owner of these cards)

What grade would you give this? I’m on the fence, it is advertised as 9.0, if purchased, I plan on sending it in for a pressing anyways.

I am thinking of submitting a few of my comics for grading. This is my first time so I hoping to get an estimated grade before I contact CGC and some advice. I do not plan on selling these so is it worth it to have them graded in the first place? Would they benefit from pressing, restoration and any other services provided by CGC. Thanks very much for the help.

Hey guys, I recently purchased an amazing spiderman 300, and noticed that the angle of the cut on the bottom looks to be off. Anyone have any insight to if it was trimmed? I feel like it was, but I am new to comic book collecting so I cant be sure. Any help would be appreciated! Thank You

Hey All, Id like someone to take a look at these pictures and tell me what they think the grade of this book may be. It has some color breaks on the spine, on both sides - so I think it is sitting around 7.0-8.0 I am wondering if pressing the book would help the grade. There are no other problems with the book, except the spine issues, and some light wear on the edges. Thanks for any insight in advance!
