This historic published page was in B+B #44 before Hawkman got his own comic. Penciled and inked by Hawkman creator,the legendary Joe kubert ,this large art page is very clean and in great shape and a great historic addition to any collection. Joe Kubert was a comics legend . His Golden and Silver age artwork drove the medium in the fifties and sixties and seventies. I had the pleasure of working for him in the nineties at his school and he was as gracious as he was talented . Offered here are some of his greatest achievements to add to your library. “Fax “From Sarjevo" and “Yossel “are intense and intelligent observations from his life ,from the trials of his family in concentration camps to the genocides in Bosnia in 1992,there are no super heroes here. “Jew Gangster” is a gangster tale also drawn from his past while Tex is a great western saga in the Clint Eastwood mold .Joe will always be THE Hawkman artist to me and here is “Hawkman Archives #1” with most of his early silver age work on the character with a couple of Murphy Anderson,and Carmine Infantino storys thrown in .The paper book jackets on Sarajevo and Archives are a little dinged but the books and their interiors are in at least Fine + condition.Here are the stats “Fax From Sarajavo" HC,8.5 x11 inches ,Color (F+) “Yossel “ HC, 7x 10.5 inches B+W Pencils on artist stock(F+) “Jew Gangster” 6 x 8 inches B+W(F+) “Hawkman Archives” Vol.#1, 7 x 10.5 inches ,Color(F+) “Tex ,The Lonesome Rider”,7x9.5 inches SC B+W(F+) $40 +$8 shipping Paypal/US buyers only

Brave and the Bold #34, first SA Hawkman & Hawkgirl, an awesome (and still affordable) SA DC key. Lets see them high grade copies. Mine are down below. (NOT high grade mind you, but I figured we'd better start somewhere, and hey, I aint rich) One is 2.5 the other a 1.8. I actually had the 1.8 graded by PGX just for protection purposes. (Hey, again, I aint rich. 20 bucks for shock and UV protection, I'll take it) But anyway lets see some copies y'all rich folks got! (and poor folks, we all love comics here)

It's been a few years since I've been on the boards but work and family are mostly settled and I have time to think about comics again. It's great to see that the boards are even more active and alive today than before and I'm happy to see that many of the members that I knew from before are still around. Surely, comics as a hobby must be growing every day. With all of the incredible movies and TV shows available to watch, it's a great time to be a comics fan! First, a few rules: I will accept checks or money orders (both of which must clear) or PayPal (buyer is responsible for any fees; books will not be shipped while fees are outstanding). Please, no HOS or Probationers. The buyer has seven days from the day of receipt to inspect purchases and books must be returned in exactly the same condition as when they were shipped. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Any number of raw books will be a flat $7 shipping in the continental US. Slabbed books will be $15 for one to three books and exact shipping for more than that (also in the continental US). I'm happy to ship anywhere else the law allows for exact shipping costs. Insurance is not included but may be recommended as I can't be responsible for books after they're mailed. (Domestic shipping might be adjusted up or down after I learn what rules the post office plays by these days.) You're welcomed and encouraged to PM me with offers but the first unconditional in the thread gets it. You know..., the usual rules.
