McFarlane Page Punchers have been releasing steadily for a couple of years now, and they're pretty cool! I wanted to make a guide for any potential collectors because I haven't really found a central place with all the information and products. Page Punchers are a line of action figures from McFarlane Toys that have full-size comic books included with them. Some of these comics are simply reprints, but others are brand new stories & art that are exclusive to the line. All the comics are new printings on glossy paper with new ads, and the indicia usually includes "McFarlane Special Edition" or "McFarlane Custom Comic" in them. There have been 3 kinds of releases thus far, with several waves of each. You can order (or shop in-store where applicable) most of these from the McFarlane Toys Store, Amazon, Walmart, or Target, but some releases have been exclusive to Target. Until recently, everything has been DC, but now there are Spawn releases as well. And please, if anyone has additional info that I may have missed or gets the jump on new releases, post here so we can keep the thread updated. Hey everyone , I am selling some stuff and will have 10k to reinvest in comics. I need your thoughts and opinions about what i should do. I am trying to decide if i should buy a low grade ASM #1 , like a 1.5-2.0 , or if i want to use the money to buy a few books like a lower/mid grade ASM #14 , #129 , and possibly a Spider-Man 1 CGC 9.8 SS signed by both Stan Lee and Todd McFarlane. Not too knowledgeable about signature values but for me personally i grew up with McFarlane stuff and i know Stan's sig is not rare but when paired with Todd's i think is pretty dope and rare . What option will age better over the long term so when my kids cash in my books when i die they can get the most? Thanks so much !

From Dec 2022/Jan 2023. Spawn 1 was submitted directly.. Still missing my Hulk 330 with a Mark Jewelers insert. CGC sent back a Newsstand of that comic not my book. It's probably gone forever now.

I LOVE Spawn, and always have. Let me make that clear. My favorite issue was Spawn #100, which to me is CLASSIC. Back when Angela was still an Image character, that fight between Spawn and Angela VS Malebolgia was unforgettable for me, even over 10 years later. Spawn #200 was amazing, as was the Armaggeddon storyline, the Morana storyline, etc. It just seems that lately the Spawn story-line reached a plateau. The series has been retconned several times and I haven't collected an issue in some time, because I feel as though either Image ran out of stories for Spawn, or that Spawn's story is just done. Al Simmons died several times, came back several times, quit being Spawn, then is Spawn again, etc. I have to catch up on my reading to see where they are at. Does anyone here read Spawn currently, and if so what are your thoughts? Feel free to disagree, I'd appreciate any feedback.

Unfortunately a friend of mine who owned a local comic shop in Honolulu decided to close his shop at the end of August after 22 years in business. To help with paying off his rent and Diamond Comics bills, I'm helping him sell off some of the items from his inventory. Most of this thread will be raw books, but there will be some CGC graded books. I'm a first time seller here on the boards, but many-time buyer, as many of you can attest. The Books Some pretty cool copper General Rules No PL/HOS members The new board software does not display precise thread post times (either in PMs or in sales threads), which can result in the inability to determine whether a PM post or thread post came first. One thing remains certain - it is easy to tell whether one post in a thread came before another post in the same thread. So, the first "take it" posted in the sales thread wins. If we reach a deal via PM, I'll mark books SOLD in the thread as soon as reasonably possible - but if someone else takes the book in the thread before your PM take is acknowledged in the thread (by either you or I), the thread poster is the winner, I'm afraid; so, there is some risk of losing a book if you try to remain anonymous via PM. (Credit to EC Ed for these rules. I have adapted them with his permission) I kindly ask that you not Quote a book and then make a comment. It makes the book appear to be sold. Payment I'll take PayPal for total sales under $1000 if PayPal is your preferred method. Personal checks, or USPS money orders for total sales $1000 or higher. When the thread is over an invoice will be sent with PayPal address. I'll expect payment within 10 calendar days of invoice, or the book will be available for sale again (unless we've made other payment arrangements). I plan on invoicing for this thread after JANUARY 1, 2020 Time payments are available for purchases of $2500 or more with 20% non-refundable deposit and installment payments so purchase is paid in full no later than 60 days and monthly installments are more than 10 days late or payment is defaulted the 20% deposit will be retained by the seller but the rest of monies will be returned to the buyer and the sale will be nullified. I always accept returns on raw books within 6 months if I missed restoration or the CGC grade is more than 1 grade off (for example I call a raw book a 5.0 and it comes back a 4.5 -no return. If it comes back a 4.0 you can return the book if you want for a full refund plus your shipping to me).

Actually 9 years, six months and 3 days. But who's counting. The only 9.8 ss set there is. And for bonus points, the 340, the 342 and the 343 (1 of 1) are undesignated "curator" copies, but for whatever reason copper books dont get the pedigree nod. Super excited to have finished this set

Approximately one Spawn comic posted daily for 365 days- through the upcoming film and milestone issue #300. The majority of these issues are original owner, and as of this posting I am only missing one issue (#150) from being completely current. I will reserve Sundays for posting a Spawn spinoff or one-shot at my discretion.

As most of you already know, Mr. McFarlane does not offer his autograph on CGC graded books at public appearance events. McFarlane signatures authenticated by CGC are only allowed twice a year at specifically sanctioned signing times (once in the spring/summer and again in early winter). The signing dates are officially announced as soon as Mr. McFarlane and his staff are able to pencil them into his very busy schedule. As a result, we are announcing our ability to accept submissions now and will continue to accept all client submissions until we are approximately two weeks away from the official signing. The cost to get a CGC modern tier book signed by Mr. McFarlane and graded by CGC is $120 for the first book and $85 for each additional modern tier book. There is no limit to the number of books you may submit for these signings. Should you elect to use your own CGC account for these signings, that’s fine too.
