Hi, I recently received a few hundred or so old marvel comics from a relative, with the intention of sorting and selling them for him. This included a number of Doctor Strange comics, some of which I think may have some value? I have issues 3-15, 20-29 and 174-186. Could anyone help me with this, I have no idea what I'm doing..

Hello! Long time collector, first time member and submitter. I have been looking at getting some of my comics graded, but am a little hesitant. While I understand the importance for future sells-I'm still unsure if the price is worth it. Any advice? I am asking because I recently noticed that my Something is Killing the Children has skyrocketed. I have every one of the books from the 2019 #1 first print of the series to the last one (28). I bought them, came home and bagged them, stored them, and never touched them again. These things have literally never been opened nor has a single finger ever touched a single page in any of the 28 books (I have been busy). Is it going to be worth the time it takes for turn around and the price to grade them?

Hello! I hope your all having a good day today! I will be honest, I have been a collector for years and I've only recently thought about getting my cards graded, but this site is so confusing to me? I've been clicking around for a moment not but I truely can't seem to find a q&a area, or just a solid place to get an estimate on the pricing for cards? I saw that there was a bulk option for 25 graded cards, but then the economy didn't seem to have a minimum? Let's say I wanted to get 10 pokemon cards graded; what tier do I select? What would be the estimated price range? (No specific add ons really? I've got some bigger pulls but I don't really understand the add ons not do I think they're needed really?) And would anyone have advice on a good way to ship the cards? I've been using a penny sleeve and a top loader; will CGC have any issues will accepting something like that? I guess overall if y'all have any advice on this because I'm truely lost, or is there is a q&a section someone could point me towards that would be amazing!!! Thank you for your time and help, have a wonderful rest of your day today!!! Edit; When it mentions the value of the cards? That does mean ungraded yes? What if we really wouldn't be sure of the value, and if I were to choose the bulk option, does the value total have to be equal or less then the posted amount? Or is that per card? -

Hey everyone! So I'm pretty new to collecting physical comics, and so far I have 69 (haha I know funny number) wildly different books. Some DC, some Marvel, some Image. Some are Batman, some are Spiderman, some are Avengers, some are Justice League, some are Warlock, and some... well, you get the picture. I currently have 3 BCW shortboxes in order to prep and have enough space to begin storing. The question I've encountered though, is how should I start storing them? I don't want to just group them all together now then have to dentangle them later. Should I go alphabetically? Should I go by publisher? By character? What do you guys reccomend? -
Hi! second time posting in the CGC forums (first time was just minutes ago in another thread). Been lurking for a while and now I decided to step out of the shadows to ask you guys for help in pricing this slabs. I've had them for some time and just recently decided I want to sell them but I don't know what could be a good price. Besides that, I'd want to know if it's possible to sell here even if I'm not from the USA (I'm from Mexico). If you guys can help me with anything I'll be really grafetul! First time submission for myself and I'm just making sure I get this correct before going forward in the submission form. In the bulk submission, do all cards need to be a max declared value of $100 or can they vary and the price per card just reflect that max value? I have various values of cards and just want to make sure I can or can't send a max value card of higher than $100 in a bulk submission. Thanks. -

Hello all! My Uncle passed away and left a massive comic book collection. I'm assisting my Aunt in selling off the collection as she neither knows nor cares anything about them. Personally, I've spent a lot of time selling off LEGO's and have some experience selling, but the comic marketplace is a completely new (and very different) challenge. I have some questions on a number of topics and really could use some help and advice; I've spent a lot of time studying some of the basic terminology and background of the comic marketplace, but I still have gaps in my understanding. What I have: A few thousand silver/gold age comics. I believe most are probably around the 0.5 - 5.0 scale, although there are a few issues that look absolutely beautiful (I have a Hero for Hire 1 that seems perfect to my untrained eye, but I'm sure an expert would probably mark it down far lower to ~ 6.0ish). Beyond that, I have tens of thousands of boxes with modern comics that I'm aware are almost all very incredibly cheap and not worth selling individually. I've also inventoried quite a bit of what I have. I'm listing the Book titles and the issue numbers, along with what equivalent copies sold for on eBay in the last 3 months. Moreover, I give an approximate estimation of how nice the comic looks to my (VERY) untrained eye. Notable examples are a really good Hero for Hire #1, Strange Tales #110, 169, Tales of Suspense #57, Fantastic Four #6, 8, 9, Incredible Hulk #3, 5, 6, etc. Questions: 1. What is the best platform to sell from? I've sold on eBay before, but eBay's fees are quite large. On Reddit, there is a LEGO marketplace community where people sell direct to buyers and avoid all eBay fees; is there any website that does something similar? Is there any store platform that allows individual sellers to list their items for cheaper fees than eBay? Finding any marketplace that's cheaper to sell on than eBay would be phenomenal, especially one tailored to comic books fans. 2. What is the value of pressing comics? Can pressing increase the grade on my comics, and is it worth the price? On which comics is it worth? My silver age books are in the 0.5-4.0 scale generally, and have far greater flaws than a few wrinkles. If pressing is worth it, when is it worth it? Should I press comics that sell for ~$50, or only press comics that sell for $300+? 3. The same question for CGC grading. As far as I can see, grading the books I have is going to cost ~$30 per book +shipping to and back. Will grading them be worth the very painful fees for lower graded books? Should some books be graded if they're key issues, or should I just upload pictures to eBay/whatever marketplace and let the customers decide? What is the cut off? Obviously a random $10 2.5 comic isn't worth the grading, but is a $50 book worth grading? 4. Thoughts shipping? So much value in comics seems to be keeping them in good condition, and I'm petrified of shipping the comics out and having them damaged in transition; however, I will be shipping tens of thousands of comics out soon and the shipping fees are certain to be astronomical. How do I reduce these prices? Are ULine Stayflats a safe way to ship a single comic or are they too flimsy? Are Gemini Comic Flash Mailers the best way to ship out small loads of comics? Are they the safest way to ship? 5. Any other advice? I can use almost any thoughts you have! Thank you all so much! This whole world is so new to me, and I could truly use help.

I'm sending books in for the Todd McFarlane signing also and went along with setting up a free account. The private signing form that I printed was quite long. If I upgrade to a Premium Membership, am I able to submit my books online for the McFarlane signing as opposed to printing out the bulky paper form? I'm sending books for both custom labels along with the standard CGC SS labels and hate to print the 7-9 page form twice for each invoice. Thanks! -
My best friend is going on a trip and I know he loves comic books. We love to watch all the superhero movies together and I'd like to get him a cool book but I don't have that much money he's got an extensive collection so I'm not sure what to try to get him that is fairly cool but like under 20-30 dollars. I'm such a nerd. If anybody can get me some advice to be fantastic thank you. I was trying to figure out who my favorite is and I can't decide I know he likes Deadpool maybe that's a good one to look for huh? -
I have a few spiderman comics, like the first appearance vulture and sandman ones, but they are from 2005. So does that mean they have no value? Thanks!!! -

I'm looking to get them out of the way quickly so I'm mostly selling them as series runs for the most part. Most if not all comics are bagged/boarded and are in NM condition, if any of them aren't they'll be pointed out with notes in bold along with pictures.
