No club for one of the best covers of all time? With the recent "discovery" of the church copy, now's as good as any time I think for its own thread. I know some of you guys have amazing copies of this book so please lets see them I will also take this chance to ask if anyone has or knows of a coverless copy (Does not need to have the elusive centerfold!) I would greatly appreciate it! Here is my entry-level copy I just picked up, glad it presents well with all major art intact including the Schomburg signature at the bottom left!

Human Torch 8 This is the classic Subby vs. The Torch cover by Schaumburg. Personally I think this cover is better than Marvel Mystery 9. For the grade this a really nice book. It's cracked from the case but I have the label. 1.8 1000.00 I'll post a picture of the book out of the case tomorrow.

When it is done these books will go back in my boxes and maybe see the light of day in a couple months. General Rules No PL/HOS members The new board software does not display precise thread post times (either in PMs or in sales threads), which can result in the inability to determine whether a PM post or thread post came first. One thing remains certain - it is easy to tell whether one post in a thread came before another post in the same thread. So, the first "take it" posted in the sales thread wins. If we reach a deal via PM, I'll mark books SOLD in the thread as soon as reasonably possible - but if someone else takes the book in the thread before your PM take is acknowledged in the thread (by either you or I), the thread poster is the winner, I'm afraid; so, there is some risk of losing a book if you try to remain anonymous via PM. (Credit to EC Ed for these rules. I have adapted them with his permission) I kindly ask that you not Quote a book and then make a comment. It makes the book appear to be sold. Payment I'll take PayPal for total sales under $1000 if PayPal is your preferred method. Personal checks, or USPS money orders for total sales $1000 or higher. When the thread is over an invoice will be sent with PayPal address. I'll expect payment within 10 calendar days of invoice, or the book will be available for sale again (unless we've made other payment arrangements) Time payments are available for purchases of $2500 or more with 20% non-refundable deposit and installment payments so purchase is paid in full no later than 2/18/19. The Books Over 50 books, half from Ricksneatstuff and half from Markentoth, all posted by me. I will denote each book with an (R) for me and an (M) for Markentoth. These will be all kinds of gold and atomic, mostly CGC graded PCH, sci-fi and good girl books with a couple war too. Markentoth's books are mostly under copies or books that he feels do not fit in his collection anymore. That being said there are still plenty of Top 3 graded copies and 1 or 2 highest graded. As I like to do I will end this thread with a pretty nice grail book that has not been offered here on the forum before. I know this thread is a bit of an experiment but I thought it would be fun to give the boardies a shot at these instead of going straight to the auction house. This is not a consignment thread- you will be paying the owner of the books directly from the invoice that is sent and we will be shipping to you directly. If you buy something from both of us the shipping charge will be split between us in the invoice so you will still only pay the same shipping total. If there is undisclosed restoration on raw books I will take them back up to 6 months after the purchase. On raw book returns, you cover shipping cost back to me unless I missed restoration or a major defect. There are no returns on graded books.
