Could I possibly own a gem here? if anyone could spare some time and knowledge it would be appreciated. They are all RAW comics and I do own too many to put them all on here and I'm being honest when I say I really know hardly anything about these super nice comics What grade would they be and how to get them graded?.P

For sale today are 11 books that have been graded by CGC. 8 have not been pressed or cleaned and I'll note those that were. Included are Wonder Woman, Jimmy Olsen #2, Detective, Jumbo, All Star, and a few others. The Wonder Womans are my undercopies, I've been doing a bit of upgrading lately before the prices go out of range. A few books are very scarce. These are all books I got back recently from CGC, the cases don't seem to have errors. I accept Paypal, checks and money orders. Payment is due within 7 days unless we make other arrangements. The first take it on the thread or in a pm wins. Threads have priority in case I can't determine the time stamp. Shipping is free in the US by Priority mail. I pay for private insurance and that's included. If the book is more than $200 it needs to go signature requested. For out of the US, I charge exact shipping less $10.00, but again, if it's over $200, it needs to go with a signature method. I can send it priority or Fed Ex. I accept returns on anything, but you must notify me within 3 days of receipt and you must return it within 7 days, packed the way I packed it (or better;). I pack carefully. Re pricing, I try to price fairly. For the most part I use GPA and completed eBay sales. Occasionally there are no recent sales so I also look at Heritage's completed sales and in some cases, I have kept notes on completed sales on clink. When there is not enough data to use, I'm guessing, but I try to be reasonable. This is a smoke free home.- 41 replies

For sale is a CGC 4.0 Shadow v4 #2, CGC labels it as a 'classic severed head cover'. Very cool book, this copy has 5 small holes along the spine, that seem like they may have been extra staples that were removed (see pictures). Rest of the book looks like it could be a 5.0+ so this a is a good chance to get an otherwise pretty nice looking book for less. Take it for $800 shipped - NOW $750 725 shipped

Steranko at Windy City Pulp & Paper Convention April 21-23, 2017 The legendary Jim Steranko will be the Guest of Honor at the upcoming Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention, taking place at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center from Friday, April 21 through Sunday, April 23, 2017. Steranko is a legend not only in the comics field – for his groundbreaking work as an artist and a historian – but in the pulp field as well, with his depictions of several classic pulp heroes, from The Shadow to Doc Savage to Sherlock Holmes to G-8 and many more. Steranko will be present throughout the show, and will also be speaking Friday night at 7:00 p.m. As this year’s show is the same weekend as C2E2 (also in the Chicagoland area), C2E2 attendees may want to head to Lombard to complete their weekend. This year’s event also celebrates the Red Circle line of pulps. These were the first publications put out by Martin Goodman, who later would launch the Timely line of comics that eventually became Marvel. The program book is packed with material on Steranko, the Red Circle line, gangster pulps, and more! The cover is attached. The convention also features over 150 tables of pulps, vintage paperbacks, comics, original comic and illustration art, and other related goodies for sale in its massive dealer room. Movies based on pulp stories will be playing throughout the day on Friday and Saturday, while the New Pulp movement will host a variety of panels on Sunday. And Friday and Saturday nights will feature two incredible estate auctions, featuring thousands of pulps, including nearly 200 issues of The Shadow, as well as many other rare pulps. Admission is $35 for all three days, $25 for Friday only, $25 for Saturday only, and $10 for Sunday only. Ages 13 and under admitted free with parent. Hours are Friday 11:00 a.m. to midnight, Saturday 10:00 a.m. to midnight and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The convention is being held at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center, 70 Yorktown Center, Lombard IL 60148.
