Hello, first time posting and i had a question and concerns i got my first 2 comics witnessed and left at CGC booth on the C2E2 convention and also some WWE/auto cards to CSG It’s been almost 3 weeks and no update if they had been delivered to their place. is it normal to take this long? Or they don’t update you? Also i read that you are supposed to pack the cards on the order they were or there was going to be delays, but I didn’t do the packaging. Will it still affect the grading process for the cards? and if the items were to get lost will they take care of it? thank you.

I’m looking to get some Garbage Pail Kids comics slabbed. They come with a trading card inside. Do I send the card in with the comic? If I don’t will it get dinged because it’s missing. I have some 1 in 75 card’s that came with them so would they put it inside where nobody can see it? What to do?

I recently pulled this Giratina alt art from a booster pack. Other than the off-centered alignment, it has these white dots all over the reverse, in the bottom-right corner. Are these white dots considered an error? Just not really sure how to categorize the card, as I am trying to sell it, but not sure if it considered LP, MP, error print, etc. Thanks for any input.

Hello, fellow collectors!!! First one to post a sales thread in this forum!!! Woo hoo!!! This is a sales thread for comic-related non-sport trading cards, mostly DC and Marvel, with some odds and ends thrown in. I also have common card sets, as well as extras, but I will only list sets that I want to sell. If anyone is looking for extra commons from a particular set, please PM me. I don't have trading cards graded by anyone, and I'm no expert. I'm much better with comic books, but I've given it the old college try with card grades. The conditions of the cards are estimates only, but feel free to message me with any questions or concerns in regards to listings. I use the current edition of Becket Non-Sport Almanac in order to estimate pricing, as well as eBay. Rules, rules, so many rules!!! No HOSers, no probies, NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Method of payment is personal/cashiers check, money order, PayPal. Paper payment is preferred, but I will accept PayPal until I can close my account with them for good. Shipping for high value cards include a penny sleeve and a card top loader. I will use card binder pages to ship multiple cards instead of top loaders. Using these will allow me to keep them flat between thick pieces of cardboard for extra protection. Any questions or concerns, please let me know. I will ship individual cards in their penny sleeve and top loader in a bubble envelope (or similar) for a nominal fee. Shipping them via Media Mail is technically not an option, since they aren't books. Items will most likely ship via Parcel Select. If more than one card is to be shipped, or a whole set, I will ship Priority with the buyer paying a portion of the cost. I only ship to the 50 United States. Sorry, no international shipping. No returns on products, unless they were damaged in transit. PM me pictures of the damage and we'll work together to find a solution. I will entertain reasonable offers, so please PM me. First in the thread ONLY is the winnah, even if PM negotiations are in progress!!! If someone would like any other scans taken of a particular item, please let me know. I'm more than happy to oblige. If you see an error with a listing, i.e. false/missing information, bad scans/photos, etc., please let me know so that I may correct it. I'm open-minded when it comes to feedback and criticism, but please keep it civil. I will continue to update posts and/or listings in order to fine tune the thread. If I missed something, again, please feel free to PM me. Thanks for visiting!!! 'There are no perfect people in this world...only perfect intentions.'

I have a Slakoth that I think has an error on it but I cannot find any information on it online. Is missing damage numbers an error? I'm trying to see if it's worth sending to get graded.

So yesterday I pulled one of those secret rare Pikachu Vmax cards, but the centering is off by quite a large margin. I wondered if submitting this as an error card would be allowed, with an off center indicator on the label similar to how PSA does it. I'm not sure that this is what the error indicator is meant for, but I thought I would ask before submitting either way to see if this was an option. Thank you, -Will

I am aware of the rapid influx of submissions. Looking to see if some light could be shed on the following: Today - 4/25/21 Bulk sub 1 delivered - 3/11 Bulk sub 1 received/entered - 4/7 Compared with... standard sub delivered - 3/19 (1 week later) standard sub received - ? It has been 25 business days since my standard submission has been delivered to CGC. Why is it that it has not yet even been entered when the turnaround time is 31 days? I will clearly state that I am aware of the turnaround time not starting until the submission is marked as received. This leads me to ask why did it take only 19 business days for my bulk submission to be marked as received when it has been 25 business days and my standard submission has not yet been accounted for? The obvious answer is the large influx of cards. Are bulk and standard treated the same in being marked as “received”? I’d appreciate any admin/mod input on this

I just got notified about my submission being shipped but my credit card was never charged for the grading. Is this normal?

I was wondering how long it takes for the status of "received" to "grading" for an express CGC trading card submission. My status was updated to received on 3/23/21 and today is 4/7/21 now. I haven't seen any movement or update from CGC. This is my first time submitting to CGC so I am unsure if this was normal. I was confused since I submitted an express order. Anyone got any info on this?

Recently CGC comics have announced the Marvel labels that look amazing! Is this something that could transfer over to trading cards? As the biggest issue people in the trading card community seem to have is the look of the label.

CGC show maximum card values that can be submitted dependant on the service level they are submitted at. But it is not a 100% clear whether this value is the Raw value or the potential graded value... which is it?

I have seen alot on youtube recently about CGC trading card cases being easy to crack. I am wanting to know if this is an isolated batch or whether this is a more serious issue that CGC are looking in to? As someone looking to facilitate card grading from the UK it is very important I know this before I can start sending cards for grading.

I have seen a few videos lately regarding the CGC Trading card cases saying some have proven easy to crack open and then reseal whilst showing little to no sign of tampering. As someone looking to back CGC and support them through my own business this is worrying. Was this just a bad batch? Also have this been or is it being rectified? Kind regards Daniel Crouch

I have an XY Evolutions Charizard with green looking flames. It's listed on bulbapedia's error card page, but I don't know if it's considered an error for grading purposes. I also don't quite understand what submitting a card as having an error or not does. Is it to have the card graded despite the error, or is it to specifically have the card labelled as having an error? If I submit a misprinted card but don't mark it as one, will it still get graded?

When you submit a card to CGC and you want an OC grade do you have to submit it as an error or will it get that without being submitted as an error?

I sent an order 2-3 weeks ago, and I was wondering how long it takes for me to receive a notification on the arrival, it is my first CGC shipment.

Hello I am a new Pokémon card collector and I am wondering if it would be smart to send in a couple cards to cgc. I’ve looked at all other grading services and this seems like it will be the best for me long term. I have a secret rare Salamander VMAX rainbow rare that I just pulled today as well as some other not as hyped cards, being grimmasnarl VMAX 115/189, Houndoom V 021/189, and Rhyperior V 095/189. I will submit photos of these and just want people’s opinions on whether or not I should send these cards in. Also how do I send them in and what price range would my cards go under.
