Huge Vancouver Comic Show Saturday April 6 to Sunday April 7, 2024 at the PNE Forum building in east Vancouver, BC, Canada. 400 x 8' dealer's tables, independent press, artist alley, comic-centric with lots of back issues, graphic novels, pop culture mags, Funko Pop toys, DVDs and cosplay too. First time CGC Comics, Cards, Video tapes will be there via Grosnor Distribution from ON, Canada so start pressing and cleaning your comic and hobby card submissions now please. Family fun with Saturday adult admission $22 or 2 day weekend pass only $25 for both days. Free or paid parking within 2 block walk from Forum centre. 501st Legion available for Star Wars group fun pics. In-house cafe and food trucks available on site or restaurants only one (1) block away: Burger King, Starbuck's, Tim Horton's, Vietnamese cafe, and beer. Annual Fan Expo Vancouver (FEV) downtown Vancouver, BC, Canada Convention Centre Sat. February 17 to Monday Feb. 19, 2024 (BC Family Day). Sat. admission $50 for adults. About 8 artists/inkers including locals have cancelled but most of the headliners for comics intact. Only the 3rd time in 24 years that artist Travis Charest has visited Vancouver comic cons. ASM and FF writer Dan Slott is from the far suburbs of Vancouver. https://fanexpohq.com/fanexpovancouver/comic-creators/ Some of the exciting vendors: Anthill Books and Comics sharing an island of dealer's booths. Comic Kingdom usually has at least 2 booths. Cdn. Comics has 3 booths, not sure why House of Markus not confirmed yet for his 2 economy tables. Comics Scene has Pokemon, hockey sports card wax packs, anime dolls, recent comic back issues. Imperial Hobbies and Toy Traders will bring a warehouse of Funko Pops, action figures, puzzles, board games, bit of comics overstock, and statues. VIP Pressing will offer anime/art book overstock. Please come see the corp. booths including Arthur Murray Dance, Netflix, blood drive, paintball, cutlery, 3D printing machine, lasers and cosplay. Centrally located with excellent access by skytrain rail, local buses, sea bus or park for about $18/hour downtown.

Several X-Men related auctions on HA.com this week, all ending Wednesday Dec. 20th! An incredibly rare drawing of Angel (Warren Worthington III) by manga and X-Men artist Kia Asamiya. X-art by this artist is nearly impossible to find, and this is a large, fantastic example. Here's an excellent page from issue #13, featuring Cyclops, Beast, and Gambit. This is a page from X-Factor #92, part of the "Fatal Attractions" crossover, and it features the entire team! So I am looking for conformation. I think that the Fleer Ultra trading card insert was only offered in the February Deluxe Direct Edition of the X-books, except for Uncanny X-men 321, which did have it in the Deluxe Newsstand version as well. Pop culture mags, back issue vintage collectible comics, Funko Pop, CGC key slabs, cosplay and Star Wars Legion for family pics. Semi-annual show at PNE Forum building with 400 x 8' dealer's tables, and local writer/ artist alley spread out over a huge 40,000 square feet. Quality vendors coming in from Vancouver Island, Abbotsford and the Greater Vancouver area. General admission Sunday is $15 or 2 day pass only $25. Massive $50 and $100 comic/toy gift certificates or Toy Traders Warehouse store credit slips to be door prizes. Kid's 12 and under FREE admission. $15 vendor's parking or collectors can park for free on the surrounding streets. Food trucks and 6 Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) will be available on site. Colin Lorimer is the Image Comics writer guest. Hello, I recently received a few hundred or so old comics from a relative, with the intention of selling them for him, but I'm very much at a loss as to what will sell, and what will not. I think there's a few valuable ones, from looking at ebay sellers, as they are first issues, but I have no idea as to how to identify, grade and sell them? I have a high number of "Fantastic", "The Mighty Thor", "Doctor Strange Master of the Mystic Arts", "Captain America and Falcon", "The Invincible Iron Man", "The Titans", "X-Men", and a number of assorted 1st issue Atlas Comics such as "The Phoenix", "The Cougar" and "Son of Dracula" (and more) if that helps any. I'd really appreciate some help with all this, he's hoping that some of it is at least worth something, considering he's kept them, (and most in pretty good condition) from the 70's. I hope someone can help a newbie out! Thank you!

A growing annual pop culture show and cosplay contest in Kelowna, BC on Sat. August 19 to Sun. August 20, 2023 in the Capital News Centre next to an ice rink and pub for meals. Independent press comic creators and pro cosplayers to be announced on their website and social media. Vendor, gaming, and interview layout is here. Some of the vintage comic book and pop culture mag dealers include: Nels' Anthill Books and Comics (end cap), House of Markus Comics (corner booth), Comic Adventures (end cap comprised of Calgary, AB and Vancouver, BC vendors), and Rene Gross's Comics and Toys (end cap). Sunday admission is only $30, FREE parking or there is a bus loop next door. There is also a cafe inside the Centre for lunch, coffee and snacks. Please join us, if you are on a winery or comic tour that weekend in the central Okanagan, BC, Canada.

Westcoast Comic Con (WCC) is doubling their square footage to 7k square feet due to high dealer and collector demand. Moving to Maritime Labour Centre north of Hastings Street and Victoria Drive in East Vancouver, BC, Canada. This is a comic-centric pop culture show for the family. 6 foot long vendor's tables are $99 each, 7' long wall tables almost sold out at $125 already, free dealer's parking. This comic-centric Vancouver, BC show is finally expanding into a two (2) day extravaganza due to high demand from vendors and collectors at the same Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) Forum location. Pop culture fun for the family. Most 8' long dealer wall tables already sold out. Vendor's tables sold as a $142 weekend package; no separate Saturday or Sunday only dealer's tables (not booths). Hi! I am getting rid of my old X-Men and Spiderman posters. I was going to sell them as a lot (there's 8) on eBay but I'm not sure what to price them at given it includes the attached poster. It has some damage at the edges, tack holes in the corners and it's been rolled up in a poster tube for years, so it doesn't lay flat. I know I've seen them for sale every now and then in the past but I didn't watch what they sold for. Does anyone have any ideas as to it's worth? This is a sale I've been wanting to do for some time now, just haven't been able to get around to it. I've got a big inventory of well north of 10,000+ s/s slabs. 90% of which are probably 9.8 and range from copper to modern. There's a few older books in there, but that's the majority. Doing signature series for 12+ years, the stuff builds up. Tonight, I'm heading with a buddy to his office where there are multiple scanners, and we're going to scan between 200-300+ slabs. When the books start going up, it's going to be a mix of new books as well as books you may have seen listed in previous sales threads, and probably some older stuff that I just never got around to throwing out there. Here's how it works. When you hit a and claim a book, you are gifted a second slab by me. Via PM, you let me know what your tastes are. Do you like Star Wars, Suicide Squad, Daredevil, Batman, Spider-Man----are you a Marvel guy, a DC or Image guy, or maybe small press? What creators do you like? Capullo? Snyder? Geof Isherwood, John Tyler Christopher, Moench, Campbell----give me something to bounce off of. While you are going to end up with a 2nd book for every ONE (1) that you purchase, at the end of the day, I decide what I'm sending. You're not promised or guaranteed a 9.8 freebie, but you're not getting trash either. Odds are HEALTHY you'll get a 9.8, worst case a 9.6. And while I'm going to be doing my best to cater to your tastes via your wish list, that doesn't necessarily mean I can make it happen. It's a jumping off point for me, but at the end of the day, when your box arrives, what's inside will be a surprise. I'm not going to have time to run options by you of "would you like Book A" vs "or do you prefer Book B", and you're not going to be getting $200 gifted books either, just to set your expectations from the get go. The idea is that hopefully we'll have some fun, we'll move a few books, you'll enjoy your freebies and I'll unload some extra inventory. Because this is a two for one sale where you're getting a free book along with you purchase, it's unlikely that I'll be discounting. If you're on the probation list or HoS, stay clear of this thread. It's not for you. My return policy----there are NO returns. Unless a book is damaged in the mail, and then both books are sent back to me and you get a full refund. There is no buyers remorse. Payment is due via PayPal in a relatively timely fashion, I want to get these out of the office and in the mail stream toot sweet. Merry Christmas from Dale Roberts Comics! Welcome to the Comic Inflation Reduction sales thread! My annual Holiday Sales Thread will begin tonight at 8 PM CST. I'll be listing books through December and ending in early January. Invoices will be sent when the thread closes, and no shipping will occur until that time. So even if you don't have enough cash right now, you have about 1 month to save up for your purchases. 2022 has been a great year for selling and also for buying, and besides all of the books I've added to the website, I also have set aside lots of stuff to sell in this thread. There will be Golden Age, pre-code horror, Silver Age, Bronze Age, Magazines, who knows what else. There are keys, semi-keys, high grades, mid grades, and low grades, and almost all of it will be CHEAP, heavily discounted in some cases! There will be beautiful high grade books for the picky collectors and lots of bargains for the more price conscious collector, and plenty of room for dealers to make money. I can't imagine that you won't be able to find something you are looking for at a very good price! Typical board rules apply. Please read. This stuff is important! is king! I welcome reasonable offers by PM, but not 30 seconds after the book has been posted. No editing of I'll Take its. If you click it, its yours. No trading allowed. Payment - Paypal is the preferred method of payment, but I will accept checks or money orders. Invoices will go out in early January, and no payments are due until that time! No shipping will be done until the end of the thread. Time Payments - I also do time payments on purchases (combined or individual) of more than $500.00. I prefer NOT to draw payments out more than a couple of months. And typically speaking, I don't do discounts and time payments together. Please ask on time payments before taking the book. If you request time payments with me, you can't be buying other stuff on the boards, while I am waiting for your payment. That's not cool. Return policy - As always, I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, as long as you return the book with 7 days. Shipping - I will ship worldwide. I use Fed Ex on large shipments and orders over $1000, and USPS Priority for everything else. Fedex shipping begins at $18.00 and goes up from there. USA Priority shipping begins at $10.00, and goes up from there. I do not use first class shipping for international. Priority mail is the only option, unless you clear it with me first. Listing schedule - This is a tentative schedule, due to potential family or holiday activities, but I will stick to it as nearly as I can, so mark your calendars.
