Hey everyone, I'm certainly not on the boards as much as I once was, but this place truly used to be my home. Throughout the years, I've been fortunate enough to never have a big shortage of money. I wouldn't say I was rich, just blessed to always have enough. Today, I find myself in a more serious need for help. I don't want to make this a charity thread, just a sales thread (with a dash of "please support me"). Ultimately, I have a need for cash, and I've got a whole lot of books. If you can help me by buying a book, I'd greatly appreciate it. It'll really help me out immensely. I'll try to have reasonable prices on the books to begin with, but feel free to make an offer, if you'd like Tracked shipping to Canada and the USA is $5 per book (maximum $30) Tracked shipping to overseas is $30 Prices are in USD I accept payment by PayPal, personal check (if I know you), international money orders, cash, or EMT (if Canadian). Returns are accepted if you are unhappy. You'll need to reach out to me within a week of receiving the book, though. My many thanks in advance. -Andy --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As many of you may already know, I started a sales thread over in the Gold/Silver/Bronze area. People have been most supportive already, and I'm eternally grateful. That thread is here, in case you wanted to see it:

So I need help. Skottie Young is having his CGC in house signing. I'm sending in my Strange Academy 3 Alex Ross Doctor Strange cover variant. So when Skottie signs it and it come back graded already, and then if I see Alex Ross is at a con or doing an in-house signing, how does that work? Would I bring/send in the slab and a CGC rep cracks it? And will the label still have the original signature dates on them? Thanks for the help everyone!

Hello all, I’m not new to collecting but new to sending in books for signature series. I have several books that are raw signed by Clayton Crain and other artists who have done signature series events before. If I send the book in to be signed and remarked by the original signer, will the books still get the green label? I have 5-10 books for the next Crain signing that I would like remarked but he has already signed them and I am afraid of not qualifying for yellow label. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

The most Signature Series books I have from 1 individual is 41. The individual is Jason Aaron. Who is the one person you have the most SS from in your collection? I know my homeboy @APort has some awesome SS numbers

From your site, Note: In select instances, CGC may accept signed books directly from the signer/publisher if accompanied by the appropriate documentation, but generally the CGC Signature Series label will only be issued to books signed under the direct observation of a CGC representative. Is there a list of these online that you would accept for yellow label? For example, I have a sig from Stan Lee with a COA, if I submitted, would it get a yellow label?

Just bought a SS yellow label, 9.8 CGC number verified already but case is cracked bottom right hand corner and comic is signed 4X. My question is, if I send this in to be recased will the grade and verified signatures still hold up and qualify for a yellow label SS?

I have a book that was signed by Stan Lee and was yellow label graded by CBCS. I intend to have the book cracked out to get John Romita Sr. to sign the book as well. I would like to get CGC to witness Mr. Romita signing the book, so I can get one of those Stan Lee Yellow Labels from CGC when they grade it. Does anyone know if CGC honors CBCS's yellow label, and treat it as if the book was witnessed by one of their (CGC's) witnesses?

Quick question, on 2 CGC books that I have, both books have a C number(C81955,C81959) these are celebrity authentic serial numbers on the CGC yellow label, any reason in particular why they don't have a holographic seal on the CGC yellow label to reflect the C-number that's printed on it? I have a couple of CGC books that have that holographic seal to coincide with the yellow label C-number. The issue I may have in the future, is in the event I decide to pass them on to someone else, this could become a problem.I included a photo of one of my own CGC books with that seal. Thanks to all who can provide any assistance with this issue.

I've done a bit of searching for information on Brian Holguin and I keep coming up short. It seems he is fairly reclusive. He was a writer on Spawn for many issues. I'd like to get his signature witnessed. Does anyone have any leads or own any Spawn books with his signature? I've seen a signature series book with his signature, so I know someone has gotten him at some point. PM or respond here. Thanks! -Shane

I'm new to CGC and really I'm new to the whole grading concept and how CGC puts "yellow labels" on books. I think I have it figured out for the most part but my question is. Will CGC put a yellow label on a comic that was not witnessed but was only distributed with signatures already on the book? For example I have Chew #1 RI it is a Retail incentive variant. It looks like the video game variant however it has a white bottom with both of the artist name printed on the lower part of the comic book with their signatures above their names on each side with a picture of a bald chicken between John and Robs signature. Again Image only realeased this particular comic variant signed by both artist and writer. So my question is, if I submit this for grading would I get a Yellow label? A Red label? Or a Green label? like I said I know CGC has made exceptions in the past with giving books a yellow label without witnessing the signature (I.e The Walking Dead 100 "Lucille Variant) if any anybody knows or would like to tell me their opinion or experience I would love to hear it. I put a picture of the comic I am referring to in the link.

I have a Secret Wars #8 yellow label. Certified at a 8.5 My question is: Can I get CGC to crack open the slab, clean, press and resubmit and still keep the yellow label? (hopefully to get a bump in grade) thanks for reading
