I saw those prices and just could not compute. I chalked it up to the seller's rep and previous history of selling well-graded GA on ebay.

What about the 38, that was not sold by a well known seller, over 5K? sounds wild.

According to watchcount, the 38 sold for $1500--which is not bad given what the photos showed.

No, it's not...but that's quite a discount. What is watchcount?

One of the many sites that will show the actual BIN price on an item with a OBO option. The following site will show the same as well as the dollar amount of any previous offers:

Well, I'm glad I have a low grade copy. I missed the 4.0 on eBay that went for $950, so I bid a higher amount on this one (if you include fees) and I got WAY blown out, I wasn't even in the top few people.

I hope someone here won and they have a slightly lower grade one they want to sell;)

I saw the final price and WOW. (Note: I guess I won't be looking for an upgrade anytime soon.)

I can't help but wonder how that copy I returned to MCS (that had a screwy, possibly moldy inside front cover) would've graded out. Oh well. I like the book and was in bidding before the session, but at $300 a point I have other priorities.

I'm sure yours is an upgrade for mine, lol. I'll let you know the next time I see one:) Just save me your old one;)

It's weird, 66 is just as hard to find and I won a raw copy for much less than my high bid a few days before. Then 2 more copies showed up, one on eBay and one on Clink...makes no sense some times.
