I'm not sure Rick was looking past the high beams.

I like that 'Wilbur' was even misspelled on the label. I'm thinking the graders were distracted too. hm

I had this pegged as one of the higher grade raw books in my collection, but CGC disagreed because of "finger bends" (huh?).

One of my favorite MLJ's! :luhv:

If Wonder Comics 1 began the flood of Superman challengers, Tec 38 was no slouch in inspiration either. One of the A list Robin challengers. Cool book! I cherish my 2.5 copy :shy:

On a side note: guess that makes the underappreiated Top Notch #8 the 'Wonder Comics' of the sidekick rush?

Congrat's on having a copy - this is a tough book, in my experience.

The 9.4 Church recently sold for a whopping $31`k, though I don't think that is a fair barometer for other copies as that was part of an auction run. Still, a reflection of early Peps definitely heating up, I believe.

Agreed. The HA Sunday auction that followed the Berk auction got strong prices for a run of low grade Peps.

Certainly MLJ's 'coveted ' run with early Archie and Zip close behind I feel.
