The postman was kind this week. PIcked up my first real uber-grail Weird Tales - "Black Colossus" - the first Conan story cover, and one of the best imho. Brundage's kneeling nude enthralled by the eerie ancient idol is very... weird!

English Pulp from 1940 " The Weird Story Magazine"  has a variety of Ghost and Horror stories.  It also has an illustrated B & W comic style story titled "Dene Vernon Ghost Investigator" not credited.

Yeah, it sure does. I just around to looking at it. It has interior art by Finlay, Schomburg and Jack Binder as well as an ad for the "Science Fiction League" club. Now I got to find the swag you got when you joined. This one is a winner all the way around!

Strange Tales is the one short-lived pulp series I wish had lasted longer.
