Drome, by John Martin Leahy, was serialized in the Jan-May 1927 issues of Weird Tales.  25 years later in 1952, Fantasy Publishing Company, Inc. (FPCI) released it in a hardcover edition of 1,000 copies.  I just picked up a nice signed copy for my collection.

Bought this cheap mostly for the cover. It is actually more of a magazine than a pulp. Has photos and illustrations throughout as well as pulp type stories. While thumbing through it, I recognized this ad for an obscure pulp premium pin that I have. Still so many un-discovered premiums offered to pulp readers.

And, although, I have never owned the Spider ring, at least I have discovered the ad offering it.

It would certainly cost a lot more than a quarter to become a member of the "Spider Army" these days...

Ray Bradbury's 1st book, Arkham House's original 1947 edition of Dark Carnival!  Limited to 3,112 copies printed.  For many years, Bradbury did not permit Dark Carnival to be reprinted, since updated versions of many of the stories were collected in 1955 as The October Country.

Not a pulp collector, but these (and others I'll post later) came with a small collection recently picked up ... they are in 'well-loved' condition over their decades journey to my hands, but I think there are some which are desirable (DS 2) ...

That's a cool book.  This one is devoted to original pulp paintings and is also a great read.

it’s Been a while since I posted some of the Spicy’s that I picked up over the summer from a large collection!
I know I posted a few back then but I’m not sure which ones so I hope it’s OK that I throw a few more pictures on.

I kept a few dozen in my own collection, including these, and this is the first time I had  a chance to look at them again due to a hectic work schedule since August.

That's a heck of a few posts!  I'm putting that Spicy Mystery cover with the blonde in the yellow dress (Satan's Mistress) cover on a t-shirt!  That said, I finally broke the seal and my 1st 2 pulps arrived today.  Yes, even in the snow in the am the magic just happened!  I just snagged these 2 because I dug the covers.  I think I'm in trouble....

Just ran across the old photo. Flea market find. The old lady I bought these from had a huge old house just filled with killer stuff. She would pull in in the morning and not even get out of her truck. People would be opening boxes in the back. Got to her a little late this day but my buddy snagged them for me. I can't even think of all the cool stuff she had and I was luckily enough to score. This day was pulps in very nice shape.

Wondering myself what the Pulp collectors think of the rarity of the Canadian covers ... are the Canadian Docs in the 30s less difficult to find than the Docs in the 40s?

John Ford Clymer painted only a handful of pulp covers before moving on to the slicks (he later painted over 80 covers for The Saturday Evening Post), but these two covers he did for Romance when it was an adventure fiction magazine are just stunning.  Amazing books, and pretty scarce too.  The interior stories are all historical adventure fiction.  One i read today was about the Irish pirate queen Grace O'Malley (Granuaile).
