Indeed it is! Never seen that one before. But it never surprises me. Pulps are such an untapped source of discovery.

I just gotta say it again, what would that be worth if it were a comic book?

I fell in love with this one the moment I saw it.  It's such a great cover image on a solid black background.  I also like how it actually came out during the war.  So many WWI covers are from the romantic revival of WWI aerial combat that occurred in the late 20s and early 30s.  Cover by Ernest Fuhr.

There are a lot of great war pulps. I have a friend who recently bought a HUGE collection of them. Including some VERY early ones and bound volumes. I have been slowly picking through them as he brings them to me.

Pretty special issue considering it has a David Goodis story AND a cover that would be swiped for the comics title.

Yes, I quickly recognized the cover when he pulled it out. The yellow Winter issue was also used on a comic but I don't have a copy.
